Genji Japanese Restaurant

Definitely the best sushi place in Vancouver! I visited after renovation and was really surprised by big change here. The atmosphere is very cozy and calm. Not to mention foods, all ingredients were fresh and taste was excellent! You must try the ice cream with gold flaks. Look so gorgeous! Will come back to this place for sure next time!

Very clean spot. The food is great. Prices are reasonable. Get the lunch tempura bento box. Good deal.

The food was really good. It looked nice and tasted great. Everything was fresh and the flavors were just right. I enjoyed it a lot and would love to eat it again.

I've been to Genji twice recently for lunch in 2022 Oct and I enjoyed the experience. The place looks inconspicuous from the outside and is next to Shoppers in Parkgate Village North Vancouver. The inside though is nice and gives a sense you are in Japan especially with the booths or cubicles. The lunch box is well priced at about $15 and comes with a variety of delicious items.

Nice selection of Sushi and well made. Good quality and decent prices for the quality of sushi. Been here (take out) multiple times and always been satisfied.

Ate at Genji's after a long day of riding bikes. Just came down from Seymour and was looking for a spot. Staff were super accommodating, watched our bikes for us as we ate, even helped charge my phone!

Food was top notch. The tofu teriyaki really hit the spot, and the seaweeds salad (4 different types of seaweed) was really unique and delicious. Wish there had been more of it, but made it more special I suppose. Was served with lemon, which rounded the flavour out really well. Not the typical nuclear green experience at all.

Weird thing to note: the washroom was insanely nice? Like, use the washroom.

10/10, I'd recommend cyclists hit this spot up aside from the fact that I cant say we quite fit in with the other folks there 🤣

Fresh sashimi, friendly staff, overall excellent experience.

We have been going to Genji for many years. I think it's one of the best Japanese restaurants in North Van. They have recently had a new interior makeover. We went on Saturday and were lucky to get a booth. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.

Delicious sushi, quick efficient service, and it doesn’t break the bank. I recommend the ramen as well!

Food was great, good value for the price and portion you get. Cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Come here!

i got take out with the yam roll and inari nigiri, so good! the service was fast and kind. it was under $10 with a tip, i’d say that’s pretty good pricing for a small business in north van nowadays with inflation & all. thank you genji!

My service at Genji is always amazing. Definitely my go-to sushi place in the Deep Cove area. Their sushi is well priced and delicious and fresh. I always get seated in a semi-private booth, it's such a nice experience!

Best service ever. The Korean server was very kind. Enjoyed my whole time at this restaurant with that server!
