My new favourite spot! Customized sandwiches and you have a large selection of meats to build your sandwich. There's also a large selection of salads to choose from. Recommend!

Some of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Rule of thumb for deli sandwich places? Always make sure at least one person behind the counter is in a bad mood. For some odd reason you just know the sandwiches are gonna slap. Perhaps it's just the realness for me. 11$ is an absolute steal for the amount of stuff you can cram into 2 slices of bread. I think they could compete with la grotta if they just upped their bread game and started slanging some olive focaccia or something. Definitely a go to if you want a very solid sandwich. Bravo to the staff and keep up the good work

Best first experience. Will definitely come back. It was our first time and the young man behind the counter was super patience and nice. He explained the sandwich building process and gave tasty recommendations. He was tall-ish and in his mid twenties with facial hair. Very good customer service. Will def come back for the sandwiches that were packed. Nowadays most places are skimping on ingredients, but not here. Cashier was nice too.

Hands down, the best sandwich money can buy in Vancouver. I almost don't want to write this in fear of this place being over run, bit truly "the best".

I am a sandwich guy, if I have the option, I will be picking a sandwich, you can have your own sandwich made for you here, tons of selection. I have never been disappointed and I have been getting sandwiches here for about 20 years.

I have actually never bought groceries here, I only go for the sandwich, but yes it is also a grocery store.

I've gone here for the sandwiches for years and they've never disappointed. Always good, always made right in front you. With a large selection of deli meats. Their hot selection is also good, BBQ chicken, hot soups. They don't let you down. Aisles are a little tight but otherwise this is a great market.

I discovered Queensdale Market whilst on a four day mini-vacay from my job in Winnipeg. I was staying in upper Lonsdale and intended taking the long walk to Loblaws. I happened upon Queensdale, which was a mere three blocks from my accomodation on Osbourne Rd East. I was skeptical at first, but boy was I wrong.

A big thank you to Queensdale Market. You not only offer fantastic products at competitive prices, but your staff are all wonderful, friendly, genuine people who go the extra mile to assist. Thank you for your service to the community and making my trip extra special!!!

Great healthy option grocery in North Van. Similar to a whole foods, just a smaller version. Decent prices.

The meat is especially awesome! The brazillian butcher is really friendly, and the girl with purple hair is super nice too!

I don't currently live in the area, but last time I was around the meat folk helped find what I wanted over the phone and then kept it for me so I didn't have to rush home from work to get it. :)

Also another time I was planning to meet a friend for a picnic and I had agreed to supply most of the food, about 3-4 hours beforehand she told me she was unable to eat gluten, which was a problem as 90% of what I was bringing was gluten.
I came here and told the employees my story and they helped me find enough stuff to make an entire meal and have it ready for my picnic!!

also the sandwiches are good, the chicken schnitzel is a bit dry but with a drink is quite good.

Such a nice sandwiches, huge choice of meat, greens and sauces.

You can have a good soap here a as well, sitting in simple but cozy interior.

The deli is where the magic happens. The cheese bun is a thing of beauty. All the staff I encountered were so cheerful and helpful too.

Great local grocery store! They have great produce and good quality groceries, but definitely on the more expensive side (more like Whole Foods) except for some things randomly cheaper than I'd expect (milk is cheaper here than Thrifty's?!). Their meat counter is also well stocked and butchered in house, so if you're looking for a particular cut it's a good place to go. They also seem to have pretty much anything you're looking for. The cashiers are also very friendly!

Great little market. Meat quality beats Safeway any day and same with the produce and the fruit. Overall this is a great little market. they have a great selection of none coke/Pepsi products (unlike main grocery stores) and just a lot of new hip and healthy items (seaweed packs are killer). Pricey compared to others but like I say you get what you pay.

I try to have at least one sandwich a week at the Queensdale Deli. Their staff if very friendly and service is quite fast, even though there's usually a lineup. Their sandwiches are delicious, with a huge array of options. Their coffee is also really good. It's a very affordable lunch, and very tasty indeed.

What a neighbourhood gem of a store on upper Lonsdale. Easy to pass by, but what wonderful shopping is offered inside. Best kept secret on the North Shore for devotees of organic groceries- less expensive than the giant Whole Foods further down Lonsdale. The bulk Organic products here are thoughtfully packaged in clear containers. Wide selection of unique products- Helpful, knowledgable staff. A yummy daily soup - super, prepared n the spot sandwiches.

This gem of a place has products that you can't even find in the big stores. Definitely nice to be able to head there mid dinner prep to get missing ingredients! Friendly staff and very small town feel which is great and beats some of the big chain stores!
