We recently had Elite painting paint the exterior of our house. They were very professional from the first visit to discuss our project to the day they painted the house. We added a change to the work order, adding chimney painting, they were accommodating to this last minute change. I would definitely use the services from Elite painting again. I hired Elite to paint the exterior of my house. The house hasn’t been painted since it was first built 20 years ago. The general manager provided a detailed estimate within a couple of days. He also provided a list of references and confirmed they had liability insurance and WCB coverage. I received quotes from 2 other companies but selected Elite because their estimate was competitive, work was covered by a 2 year warranty, and the references provided positive feedback about the quality of their work.

At my request, Elite recommended a paint consultant and a carpenter. I highly recommend using a paint consultant to avoid a potentially costly mistake or delays when choosing paint colours. The consultant’s hourly rate was $175, a reasonable cost considering the big investment in the overall painting project.

I hired the carpenter to replace some of the worn base boards and dentil work before the painting started.

The project start date was delayed by approximately 4 weeks due to poor weather and delays from other Elite projects.

Elite offered to test a few samples of the paint colours I selected to ensure I was happy with my choices before painting started. I found this very helpful.

The painters were great to work with. Albert, the foreman, was my go to for day-to-day questions. He kept me updated at each stage of the project and was patient when I made some minor colour adjustments. The entire team was professional, punctual, and respectful. I really appreciated the team leaving the property clean at the end of each day and using protective covering to ensure there was no damage during the painting process. You could tell they took pride in the quality of their work.

The project was completed in approximately 10 days. The budget estimate was accurate and there was no surprises on the final payment.

I would recommend Elite Trade Painting
due to their very competitive price, quality job, and professional team. The only constructive feedback I have is for the general manager to provide proactive communication when a project start date is delayed. This would help manage customer expectations and sets the team up for success when they arrive at the customer site. Having said this, the general manager did provide an accurate budget estimate, he was knowledgeable, he provided helpful resources (paint consultant and carpenter), and he kept in contact with his team during the duration of the project.

I’m very happy with the end result. The house looks new with the updated paint colours. I would not hesitate to hire Elite Trade Painting again for future projects - thank you!
