JamSchool - South End Campus - Music School, Performance Venue and Retail Store

Our two children have been students of JamSchool for many years now. The staff and teachers have been wonderful in any way I can think of. The teachers make learning music fun. They work with the students on songs the students want to learn as well as introduce them to new music they would have never come across on their own.
As strong as JamSchool is with their teachers, their real strength is organizing performances. The JamSchool performances are a super supportive place for these new musicians to play in front of people. There is no doubt in my mind that JamSchool performances have been instrumental in helping our children become the confident people they are today.

Jam School has been great for us over the last 2 years. Our current teacher is Matthew and we love him for guitar! They make everything easy- rescheduling, makeup classes, switching to online when the kids are sick. Love it!

We LOVE jamschool! Communication is constant (but not overwhelming), any issues that have come up (billing issues, classes needing cancelled) are solved quickly, efficiently and respectfully. And most importantly sometimes I joke that I am paying for my daughters best friend and biggest cheerleader. She looks forward to music every week and we are so happy with the relationship she and her teacher have. (I should mention she describes herself as an athlete, and not a strong singer, but her teacher is shaping her to know she can be both!)
The performances are amazing….. I might have been caught crying at several shows (and not just for my kiddo).
Oh yeah, one time her teacher came out after her shift in the evening and helped boost someone else’s car. Just truly great people- not just in the business sense.
One of the best choices we made was joining jamschool!

JamSchool has been a life-changing experience for our daughter! The teachers are incredibly supportive and experienced, and the focus on performance is a difference-maker compared to other schools. There are so many opportunities for kids of all ages and experience levels to perform both within school shows and community events. We highly recommend JamSchool for all budding musicians.

My granddaughter has been with JamSchool for over 5 years and she loves it!
She has gained so much confidence and experiences she’s had have been incredible. They are all so amazing at the school especially her teacher Alpha… he’s the best!! We are part of a family at Jam School. All the teachers and leaders are very friendly and encouraging. I just love atmosphere , the moment you walk in , you feel positive energy and great vibes! My kids (9 & 11) have been attending JamSchool for three years. I was impressed with JamSchool from when we first walked in the doors, with how friendly and engaging they were with my kids and myself as a non-musical parent. I enjoy the 'non-traditional' learning and the emphasis on performance, not grading. The concerts the kids perform in are great experiences to grow confidence by getting up in front of others; also the experience for them to hear and see various types of music played by many different ages.
The teachers are also steller. They keep the kids progressing and allow them to go in directions that interest them.
5 Stars I would (and do) recommend JamSchool to anyone interested.

My husband (who couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket) started Jam School a year ago to learn to sing. From only singing in the shower to performing solo at the holiday concert to rave reviews, he was incandescent with joy! I can’t say enough about how awesome Jam School is, even for adults. He’s on to learning guitar now and our whole family has discovered a passion for music. Thank you Jam School for making it all possible!

Jam School is all about helping people develop a love of playing music. Both my kids have thrived at Jam School in very different ways and that is amazing! I highly recommend giving them a call to see if it's right for you /your kiddo.

Love JamSchool and the efforts they make even for adults learning to play an instrument. I started learning an instrument a few years ago and really enjoy my instructor and the opportunity to perform at their adult-only events.

The school is fantastic. Very well organized classes and teachers. Ashley was my teacher and the best teacher I have had in my 20yrs of playing the guitar. During the pandemic I took up some lessons to brush up my techniques and also deep dive into music theory. Ashley's teaching style was so simple and withing weeks I was able connect the dots and elevate my playing instantly. She also helped me with recording with his extensive understanding in music production. I also got the opportunity to learn online with other members and we did a cover . Thank you Ashley and Jamschool for the great lessons and amazing memories

Great opportunity for Jam School students to learn about music and then have a chance to get on stage and show family and friends what they learned. Very supportive environment!

My daughter just had her first lesson this week and she absolutely loved it!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly:) Matthew was great with her and calming her nerves and got her super excited to come back again! Thanks again Jamschool!!

10/10 JamSchool is very inclusive, accommodating and the artists that provide the lessons are very talented. We have done both piano and drums and would come back over and over again.

Very fun, exciting and professional!!! Jam School has really been an asset for our children!!! So much so….I have just signed up!! 5 Rock ⭐’s.

JamSchool has a great stage and recital space. We visited just one time and watched a local band and a local celeb perform. They were great and the sound and the lighting were great. The venue was perfect for the party and the great entertainment.

Excellent music school. There are teachers there that could teach you virtually any instrument and style of music. Lessons are fair in price and give you a lot of information per session.

My daughter attends at this location. She absolutely adores her instructor and is really enjoying her lessons. Highly Recommend!
