Jessica is so wonderful and an expert at eyebrows! Shes such so kind, attentive and such a joy to chat with. It had been a hot minute since I stepped through Melange's doors, and she remembered me from years ago! I highly recommend booking your next eyebrow shaping with her :D

I recently did the curly hair experience with Angie on my long wavy hair and it is hands down the best hair cut I’ve ever received. Angie truly knows her stuff and was able to recommend products and styling tips without being pushy. I really appreciated the detailed form I had to complete prior to and Angie took time at the beginning to understand how I style my hair and my likes/dislikes.

Jade was absolutely amazing, she brought my curls back to life and gave me beautiful natural blonde highlights. Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated, especially with the pintura technique to highlight my individual curls.

Jade walked me through ways to style my curls and how to use different products and techniques to get the results I was after. She is also super nice and we had a great time chatting.

The salon was clean, bright, and nicely decorated. Overall this was my best experience at a salon in a long time and I have found a new favourite stylist!

I had a great time at my facial appointment - Jessica was really sensitive to when I was feeling chatty and when I wanted to zen a bit. She knew her stuff and I felt really confident after our initial consult that she was going to do a great job - and I was right! Would recommend, and I'll be back for sure.

Kristen is super friendly and works with you about how and what you want done. She has a great sense of humour and I enjoy booking in with her to get my hair cut, styled or coloured.

It's always such a treat to go here. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and special. I like to buy gift certificates here for friends and family because this experience must be shared with the ones you love.

This was my first experience at Melange. I went for a curly experience and Jade is an absolute gem! This is my first hair salon experience where I have left feeling entirely positive and educated and happy! There was no judgment, she is a curly girl herself so she understands the struggles, and she is pure sweetness. I feel like I can finally say I found a hair stylist?! Which is something I was kinda giving up on. She prepared me for the shrinkage and I appreciated that honesty haha, but my curls have never felt so healthy! Thanks Jade!
The salon itself was lovely and I so appreciate that it is certified green. I appreciated the service and the quality touch of drinks and snacks. Honestly, the best hair experience of my life so far :)
Another perk is that it is a couple minutes from Brown Butter cafe, which is amazing and everyone please go there and get a cinnamon bun. (I generally base my life around local coffee shops, so this is a nice win haha)

I’ve been on my curly hair journey for a long time and thought I knew how to take care of my hair but Jade told me a lot of different tips that will really help with my hair growth .

This appointment was sooooo incredible! First off, Jade was spectacular, she was so kind, patient and generous and was helping me by giving me a lot of tips for my curly hair and she was answering all of my questions. Usually when I’m getting my hair done, I would be really nervous to talk but being with Jade made me feel calm, comfortable and so so excited and happy to be with her. Overall Jade was incredible and my haircut and styling turned out amazing and I got so many tips that can help me in the future with my curly hair!❤❤❤

Jade is what has made this a 5 star place for me! I have been going to see her for about a year now, so I believe I've seen her 4 times. She is the best.

I'm gonna be totally honest, in my first appointment last year, I was really grumpy going into the appointment, but the reason I am giving 5 stars is that jade made everything perfect and better. She is amazing!

I had never been to the salon, and so I had no idea that it was in that yellow building. When I called them, the receptionist picked up, and gave me horrible directions that made me really confused and she did not mention at all that they were located in that yellow building. I cried in my car because I was so frustrated. At this point, although i had arrived half hour early, i was 15 minutes late because i could not find it. She then messaged me on Instagram and easily gave me directions.

Going inside, I was really upset, but I knew I couldn't take it out on jade because it wasn't her fault, but I must admit that I was a bit grumpy.

I instantly felt comfortable with her and I am so happy I decided to stay rather than leave. She is so kind, so caring, so easy to talk to!

I used to have extremely long hair. I didn't cut it or trim it at all for 6 years. I went to a regular stylist at lime light who didn't know curly hair, and messed up my hair with very bad layers. She even cut it when it was wet. But I didn't know any better

Jade made everything better!! My self confidence went up so much when I first left the salon last year. Also, it's worth noting that I had no idea what I wanted. I was just confused and had never gotten a curly cut, and she was so kind and knew just what to do.

Every time that I've gone since then, I'm amazed that she just knows what I want; she always says the same as always? I have no idea how this girl remembers because I go once every three months lol she is amazing.

I think she's an apprentice, but don't let that fool you. She has spent so much time learning her skills, and it shows in the end result. She truly cares that you are happy with your hair, and gives you honest and helpful advice.

It has been so wonderful to see her grow in her confidence and skills in this past year of being her client. Every time I go, I like my hair more than the last time!

I knew I had waves but I didn’t know I had waves like these. Beyond exceeded my expectations! Calming and friendly atmosphere. So few places in the Edmonton area do hair cuts for curly hair but I was lucky enough to find this place and wow! Not only did I get a proper haircut for my wavy hair but I also learned tips on how to get my waves looking their best and lasting!!!!

I had so much fun getting my hair done yesterday! I love that Jade listens to what I like about my curly hair and incorporates that into the cut. My favorite part is being able to relax while she styled my hair so I left with super defined curls and waves without any frizz. I’ll be back!

When I arrived at the salon the lady working the front desk was welcoming, asked if she could take my jacket, and if I would like a coffee or tea then proceeded to hand me a menu of many different options. Wonderful experience! I went into the salon not really knowing what exactly I wanted, Kendra was absolutely wonderful and talked me through and figured out a plan. My hair turned out absolutely beautiful and I already booked my next appointment before I even left! Today was my first visit and it won’t be my last.

Juli has done wonders for my blonde hair! It's clear that she knows what she is doing, and she does it so well! I would highly recommend any fellow blondes to go see her, or anyone for that matter. The salon has a great atmosphere, and the products used are top line!

Jade was fantastic! She is very knowledgeable about curly hair and took time to understand my hair needs AND wants. I am very happy with my cut and style. I would recommend Jade for curly hair!

Jessica was very thorough but gentle, not to mention very friendly. I had a great Glow On Girl facial treatment + mini mani experience with her. My skin felt so clean and hydrated afterwards. My sister noticed it too ☺
