Here we are, brave adventurers, to the mystical land of Ikea South Edmonton! Where intrepid shoppers enter with a sense of purpose and fear, asking themselves, "Am I here to shop, or get lost forever?" - feeling like we are in the Roblox Game?? Fear not, We are here just to look for something that will look good and functional for my office.

Enter the wondrous realm of showrooms, maps that resemble cryptic treasure scrolls, and mouthwatering Swedish delicacies. IKEA will test your wallet's endurance, but ultimately reward you with magical memories and brag-worthy survival stories - unless, of course, you're still trapped in the rug section.

While trying to conquer the anxiety that comes from staring at the expansive entrance, and with the playful signage urging you to 'Mix, Match, and get Lost', our journey began. Found ourselves in a welcome to the Marvelous Maze! Showrooms popped out around every corner like Jack in his little box. Confronted with a stunning array of items, Ikea Maps became my new best friend. Being able to translate those squiggly lines and dots into an escape route (or at least to the next room of the maze), truly felt like decoding the cryptic prophecy of an ancient civilization. But for some mysterious reason, they kept leading me back to the cozy kitchen setups!

Embarking on your culinary journey in this Swedish utopia, you encounter the divine "Meatball Mania." Have you ever choked on perfection? If not, this is your chance-downing these spherical marvels like a famished Viking! Let me testify, that's life-altering, the stuff of legends! Then came the showstopper, IkEA- the blond beauty making you a connoisseur of pastries. Seriously, who knew a furniture store could turn you into a swinger for confectioneries? As you roll your sleeves and unleash your inner baker, remember, calories don't count in Ikea!

Navigating through the Scandinavian-inspired wilderness, I'm reminded that Ikea is like a wallet-friendly fashionista – stylish yet thrifty. Among the Swedish forest of flat-packs, you find hot deals that won't freeze your funds. But oh, for those with wallets as deep as Nordic fjords, there are temptations to splurge – a sleek VEDBO here, a chic FÄRLÖV there. So whether you're counting your coppers or flashing your cards, Ikea's trove has you covered.

And on this yellow-brick road of economic diversity, we march on to the grand finale of our Swedish saga – Finally, found what I was looking for - a metal/wooden shelf for my office and some cool stuff for my son.

At Ikea South Edmonton, I'll always recall it as a fantastical, spellbinding labyrinth that left me richer in experience. A magical makeover of the ordinary into the extraordinary, indeed. It was a nice feeling and MAZEmerizing!

Great place to find all your furniture at cost effective prices. If you’re a novice they even have services that will build it for you, honestly it’s pretty easy though. The food courts sell amazing food , definitely try the Swedish meatballs they are to die for. Also once your done shopping looking for through thousands of items, the small cafe before the exit has some great food also. I always find my self spending so much time here , it just happens. Whether it’s a new apartment or looking to spruce up your current living space. This is the place to go

Go for the meatballs, stay for the furniture! And get yourself a blåhaj while you're at it! Pretty standard Ikea. It definitely is busy on the evenings and weekends. Selection is great, the cafeteria is always bustling, and we have I mentioned the meatballs already? When you're done, grab yourself a froyo as treat!

Visited on Hej Day and there was the $2 breakfast! There was also a daily deal I got the Kallax 3by4 deal it was really a great bargain! All home furnishing products were 15% off as well! IKEA is always a wonderful place to go 😊

I love this place many things and ideas for home . We buy a shelf for our walk-in closed . So happy have many option for set up .

Great place for an affordable dinner, especially if you have kids. Kids eat free on Wednesdays if you sign up for Ikea family, which is free. It's rarely crowded here, which I really appreciate. Great for walking around and taking your time to browse.

I see the best place for furniture. The best part is they have show rooms to showcase the furniture. Complete bedrooms and kitchen and washrooms

Hugeeeeeeee store, but once you've gone a few times its easy to navigate. They have everything you can imagine. Wish they had better canvas art selection (they have nice prints but need to staple it to a canvas yourself) but got a beautiful tv stand for $199 and was easy to install at home - no tools needed! A cute area rug and this print for $20 each. They also have child care which i think is incredible and makes shopping nice for the parents, huge cafe mid store and another cafe at checkout. Also really great selection of lamps and lighting! Great value. If its your first time there, give yourself time to walk through the whole store

Got my watering can and nightstand. Was able to use cafeteria receipt for discount on purchases. Really helpful checkout staff who was able to help us navigate the process. Was able to have white wine with our meatballs. Excellent place for date night with a friend. Lol

Tables, couch, bed, bed frame, mattress, 2 computer desks, 2 drawers, all from here. All 5+ years old, computer desk is almost 10 years old, survived many many moves. Love the consistency and quality of products. Food court food is also amazing. Would love to have one in red deer some day!

I need to prepare for overstimulation every time I come, but it's a great place for quality products and decent, cheap meals. We canned here for breakfast with Santa and the family enjoyed the experience. I wish they prepared more food though, because they ran out of ham, waffles, and yogurt.

This is the best place to buy furniture and any other home needs, the variety is so much and the price is simply great to buy at. The best of this store that I love is they set up the whole space so well and it really gives you so many ideas to set up your own space much creatively at a very affordable price, each time I visit I pick up so many great ideas. Also, the restaurant is awesome, you'll enjoy eating after having walked so much all through the store. A must visit store

Always love going to IKEA especially this location in South Common. There's always an ever changing incredible selection of products of which most, I think, are good value for your money.

Where I think this location could use some improvement is the customer service experience provided by some of their staff. If I could rate this separately, it would be a 2 at best.

Ate at the cafeteria for the first time ever. Definitely reminds me of high school when you had to go along with your tray. Be sure to grab your glass in the beginning if you are getting any sort of fountain drink. Prices are excellent and food is better than high school cafeteria lol! I had the fish and chips with a sparkling pear water to drink. The water didnt taste like pear, to me, but it was very sparkly, lots of fizz. The shopping was nice, not crowded and had everything in stock we were looking for. Their plants are a great price too and very healthy. The cashier, Victoria, was very nice and friendly. Would definitely go back again.

Life changing. The store is bigger than one could ever imagine, every type of household product and piece of furniture you could ever want, and more. Not the highest quality items you'll ever buy, but their prices make the vast majority of their stock a great deal. A must for new home owners/renters.

Living out of town, the only complaint I have of this location is that it isn't closer to the west side. :( The staff are really helpful in sharing shortcuts to where I want to go.

Great customer service and very clean and well maintained just need a little help with the cashiers cause wow they are really slow 2 put customers threw almost a half an hr just 2 pay for 20 items cause we were over by 5 items so we couldn't use the self serve and the self serve had nobody and we were still sent 2 the cashiers thats kinda of ridiculous cause iam pretty sure I would have scanned all 20 items in under a half an hr and paid then 2 have 2 wait that long so next time iam gonna make sure I only have 10 items or less

Great place to shop all your home furniture. Service is great. Followed all COVID rules diligently including occupancy limit, often sanitation, mandatory mask wearing. Delicious tasting cheese pizza & veggie dog. But fountain drinks are tasteless. Feels like drinking sugar drink with no CO2 & extreme light flavour.

ikea has very lovely affordable home wares, appliances, furnitures, and fine decor flowers, got some flowers for bathroom and furniture for our small home office space.

We found this lovely, affordable, portable home office table that fits perfectly into the space we have, the table fits so well 29inch in width, it came with a detached side drawer that we didn't pick cos of our space, we just picked only the table which was very portable and lovely 😀😊. The table cost $69.99.

It was fun shopping as we had alot of selections, though it made us walk the whole building, and that was tiring but fun, Ikea in south common is quite big so if you have the time and want to enjoy your shopping experience, make sure to check out everything in all the sections. 😊👌.
