Saint John Police Force

I was in an accident early last year in Saint John and the police were more understanding than I expected... I took seat in their vehicle to get out of the rain I had a chat with them and found they just seemed like people who want to actually do good and not just drive a fast car with a badge. I was even going to write a letter to thank the officers but sadly I lost their names.

Never heard any complaints when I was there for about a year and a half unlike in Charlottetown where everybody complains about the police every day. The difference could just be down to "regional culture" but I think the police in Saint John are doing something right. I had spoken to another pair of officers another time and again found them to just be decent people with a sense of humor and a job and not these intense adrenaline junkies that breathe down everyone's necks and drive like maniacs for no reason. I thought there must be a catch but they handled my case competently too so I'd be lying if I gave less than 5 stars.

Would like to thank the city police offers that stopped and changed the tire for my wife Linda Snodgrass after having a flat on the highway near Chateau Saint John this AM. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

They try to help you as much as they can god bless them for keeping our earth peacefully

I like the food but the people there were rude. I was going to court and I called for a appointment and they hung up. I called back and they said they hung up because I sounded black. So racist

Friendly staff for justice in Saint John nb Canada

Called in to talk to an officer about charging someone, the officers are lovely and very kind for the most part. As a matter of fact, the one dealing with my case is amazing. Altho I was taken a bit back today by the lady who answered the phone, I called and had asked her to speak to the officer dealing with my file, to which she told me he wasn’t in that day. When I asked her if she could leave him a message she had repeated herself, very loudly and with an attitude. She basically replied as if I had asked her the same question twice.
I swear she did not want to do her job, it was piercing to my ear as I suffer from autism, so I hung up on the spot and panicked. I think the problem should be dealt with, because I see I am not the only one who was greeted poorly by this lady.

The people who are at the front desk seem rude and not perfectional.

Wouldn't call for "help".

I felt attacked verbally for no reason last night by a young officer. Dealing with depression and anxiety you would think they would be more understanding about my situation but instead knit picked my place apart. I've been also dealing with a loss. I wish they had more compassionate police officers in saint john.

I just got back from a counseling with Mental Health and went over to Saint John Police Force to get something. The lady in the Front desk, just want to let you know that you don't need to be rude in answering people's question you could just say " I am sorry but I don't know what that one is" rather than being snappy and answering " I don't know!". You made me feel so down and upset as if I am doing something wrong. I am already having a hard time but I did not know going to your office will make it more bad. Hope people in the government facilities treat people fairly.

It certainly helps if you are a woman. It is only men who created Domestic abuse. Men are 4 times more likely to commit suicide. Cause: "women rights". Men don't have any. Treating Domestic violence as a single gender issue is counter productive to fixing the issue, but of course it is more PC

When you need help they cower. I've seen 5 cars try to apprehend a drunk then attempt to put him into a cab, then the cab drives away before they can offload their problem on him. Good for him I say! They are lazy and without compassion. FYI the one thing they are good at is collecting money if your papers aren't in order!!

Explained that there were a bunch of young people racing and doing donuts in the parking lot east. Was concerned someone was going to get hurt. I was told Noone available to check it out. They will get to it when they can. Really??? That's how saint John police work? In my opinion that is pathetic.

Lady at front desk really does not seem to want to do their job. Like they don't want to be there and it's our fault. They would explain something to me as If I could hear them at the printer and acted insulted when I asked them to repeat themselves.
