I'm always up in Rockwood. Especially this time of the season. Running the bike trails is something to be experienced and good work. We could have world-class trial systems up in Rockwood with some work and funding. Would be get for the city and surrounding area.

This place is amazing. Something here for everyone. We were here in 2016, and we are amazed at the improvements that are going on.

Lots to do here, swimming, biking, hiking trails, canoe rentals, paddle boat rentals, etc. Also, a restaurant and massage place on site.

Great campground with full hookups, no stay limit. Normally opens in April and closes early October. Very safe, with enclosed chain link fencing around the perimeter of the grounds.

Plan on spending an entire day here. Lots to do and see.

Absolutely beautiful park in the heart of St. John. Kind of reminded me Lord of the Rings forest, sometimes mysterious and dark, sometimes shining with light. The biggest highlight for me was the little bridge that gave opening to the side of the Long lake covered with yellow water lilies. Enjoy the peace, bring your family as well. Abide..

A beautiful park with convenient access from Saint John and the surrounding area.

Several places to swim, and some visually pleasing landscaping and memorials round out your visit.

There's a horse farm and botanical garden, but we didn't visit them this trip.

Lots of hiking trails too! Come down and enjoy nature and fresh air.

This is a beautiful place to take a walk ! There are so many different trails with signs as well, and it’s very well maintained. You can take some trails that are all gravelled or paved or find an off road trail as there are a few of those as well. Highly recommend checking it out.

This place is great for swimming, fishing, picnics, having BBQs, nature trails and seeing local wildlife. There is also a playground here. My kids and I love it here. It's our go to place for a relaxing fun day. Wish I was there right now. 😁

Rockwood Park is like the heart of the city. Beautiful, clean, and full of green. Fantastic place to take your family, including your pet! There is a dog park on site along with a lake that is pet friendly for swimming, a playground for children, trails that go for miles, hidden caves, a beautiful golf course, a campground, and restaurant that has the best homemade desserts!!! Recommend checking this place out.

I attended my cousin's wedding here in the summer time. It was a beautiful location, great facilities and an amazing staff. I was also fortunate to have stumbled upon the memorial for the day of mourning. It was a wonderful day!

Really nice and natural park to walk through. With some stopping points to take a break. We went there by taxi from the cruise ship terminal in Saguenay.

Lovely park with surprisingly wild nature. We saw deer several times. Some of the trails are under construction, but the path is still well indicated. Some trails are marked as being extra challenging - we didn't have time to go that far, but it would be interesting to see just how challenging we're talking about! There's a cool cave just at the beginning of Pugsley (not sure I spelled it right) trail.

One of the largest inner-city parks in Canada. It has trails that are marked and made, and many neat spots off the beaten paths. Camp, swim, enjoy nature, hike, and stargaze. All within walking distance of the city center.

This was a lovely park to visit. The deer were so calm, but they walked away if you got too close. The trails were well marked. I am looking forward to visiting again when I return to the area.
