Beautiful place with lots of things to do, however the place is not welll-maintained (very evident). The turtle lake has no turtle and was just a few hydroponic plants.

There are many varieties of butterflies, and it's a perfect spot for children.

The ticket price was reasonable and the staff was super friendly.

Absolutely amazing experience! Very beautiful atmosphere walking among butterflies. Fun place to view and learn. If you are lucky, a butterfly might land on you. Not just butterflies, they have turtles, frogs, and some lizards. Extremely friendly staff.

Nice little place. When we visited it was a bit busy and crowded , but we took a bit of time outside in the garden and by the turtle pond and went back inside the butterfly enclosure once it quieted down. Worth visiting for sure. The gift shop has many unique little gifts/souvenirs & the staff working were very sweet.

So many beautiful butterflies, it's clean and well kept, there's flowers and gardens to see, a turtle pond, a frog pond, and some other bugs in little terrariums to view as well!
A great place to learn about the life cycle of butterflies, as they have some chrysalis on display and some charts about their life cycle.

We had a lovely time! Plenty of beautiful butterflies to look at and even got to see some other bugs (stick bugs and beetles!) There were lovely gardens to walk around too, and a neat giftshop. A few butterflies even landed on us but only stayed a moment. It was quite warm inside but not too bad. Would recommend!

It was a fun time for our family! The staff were friendly and told us lots of neat things about butterflies. We did not see and frogs but we did get to see some turtles too.

Spent a lot of time here as a kid, so returning as an adult was quite a treat. So many beautiful butterflies. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Lots to see, as well as a turtle pond, and extra indoor garden

Was driving through the area and decided to stop and stretch my legs. What a delightful place where you can get up close and personal with numerous types of butterflies. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Very friendly staff and beautiful butterflies. The kids were enthralled and loved trying to match the butterflies to the provided identification chart. We didn't see any butterflies in the outdoor area with plants for wild butterflies (seemed like wrong time of year) but the indoor space was great.

Breathtaking! It’s a fairly small building but there’s so much to see from the beautiful butterflies, flowers, fountains, plants, and different stages of butterflies life cycles to a peaceful orchid garden with more fountains and carnivorous plants. The butterflies fly freely in the main plant/flower area so roam around and admire the beauty. There’s a frog pond with another fountain and a couple beautiful tortoises. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. So many cool souvenirs available in the gift shop as well. Affordable and a super cool experience.

AMAZING! Well worth the stop. The plants, butterflies and birds were beautiful! We also saw tortoises, turtles and frogs. I took 100 pictures and a few laps around, so peaceful. We were lucky enough to see a butterfly emerge.

We always stop here when we are in the Parksville area. It is quite a lovely thing to be surrounded by a hundred different butterflies floating in and about the air around you. Be sure to bring your camera.

Myself and another 30 year old had a great time here. We spent 40-45 minutes in total. Loved the butterfly greenhouse - so many beautiful butterflies, the gift shop has amazing stuff, I got a t-shirt and a magnet, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. At the end as we were leaving staff (awesome woman with braids) gave us food for the koi and turtle pond, which I’m glad we checked out. 10/10 experience, well worth the money (people complaining about price must not be aware of the costs that go into running this kind of space, or must prefer scrolling on their phones for entertainment)

Great variety of butterflies and plants, and flowers. We loved seeing them going through their metamorphosis and the actual hatching.
Bring your kids and enjoy this little heaven!
The gift shop is filled with amazing art from indigenous artists.
Highly recommend it while you are in the area!

Don't missed out Butterfly World Coombs.
Watch for the signs on the left side about 2 minutes drive from Goats on the Roof .
Butterflies is just hovering you around when you're in the garden, there's also tropical plants & different gardens . Don't forget to visit the Koi & Turtle ponds staff can give you food for the Koi's & they comes out when you feed cheerios so many of them so big & a huge Turtle. Don't forget the spearhead kimono dragon .I enjoyed very much.

For me it was a magical experience. I found the price reasonable for this kind of venue.
Only thing I'd change is the the Orchid Garden needs to be more wild and natural.❤🦋

It is priced a little higher than what I’d like it to be, however I understand up keeping a butterfly garden is not an inexpensive business. the only disappointing thing about it was I couldn’t give the bearded dragon some love, and the blue butterflies were impossible to get a good picture of.
That being said it was busy so it was unreasonable to expect one of the employees to stop what they were doing just to let me pet a lizard. As well as the employees cannot control the butterflies, so the photos I got are the best ones I could get.
