The Sweet Spot

One of the best bakeries in Richmond, it’s located in Steveston. I’ve tried their scones and almond croissants, and also love their pistachio raspberry tart! Friendly and inviting service always! Thumbs up!!!

This is really a sweet spot for the delicate sweet taste. Fine pastry is the way I would describe their pastries. It's a cozy shop so it's for to go only. Cheese smoked salmon croissant is one of the few tasty savory bakes. The peach danish and pecan bread are really good. Friendly staff and elegant presentation

Superb bakery with very affordable prices - they serve delicious fresh scones and all their pastries look so nice!! I wanted to try everything there :)

Cute little bakery. Had a cheesecake there and it was rich, smooth and creamy with a hint of lemon scent. I can see they use real vanilla bean for their whipped cream. Quality ingredients with right amount of sweetness and saltiness. They make everything in-house. Would visit again if I’m in the area.

Ordered their chocolate cake from here several times and it always surprised everyone how good and delicious it was! They have all kinds of bakeries and my most favourite is the lemon tart! they just got that sweetness and sourness to a most heavenly match and this is coming from a sweet tooth that have tried sooo many lemon tarts out there! Nothing beats it seriously. A must try!

I’m in Steveston Village for a week and accidentally bumped into this patisserie while exploring the area, I made a goal to try everyday something for the next 7 days ; so far I had the Madelaine, quiche, chocolate chip cookie and croissants, everything fabulous, it taste as delicious as it looks!! Note that they do not take credit cards ; cash or debit only.

Went there yesterday with a friend and ordered the apricot frangipane. Too bad, their Red wine poached pear frangipane wasn't available for now :(. Hope that the next time I go there, it'll be ready for me!!

A go to anytime you need a beautiful tasting cake. They have an above average quality of viennoisery and the cakes are always moist, albeit a little bit small. You won’t miss the quantity bc it’s so good. The croissants are excellent.

Great coffee shop to go to, popular with the locals. Would highly recommend their shortbread although it is a lil on the pricier side.

The chef pâtissier here is a true artist. The Sweet Spot is a gem.

A lovely bakery for croissants. Love their savory croissant sandwich for weekend brunch. Their seasonal scone is fantastic, especially with clotted cream that you can get from the British specialty shop across the street.

A cute little hole in the wall spot hidden in Richmond. Always get a scone if they aren’t sold out of it! Croissants are delicious and buttery. I also highly recommend their oatmeal raisin cookie and the carrot cake bar! They always switch up the flavors/treats from time to time so you get to try new things from time to time. Love this place! Only wish that they could remain open on a Monday or Tuesday!

Enjoyed the maple pecan and cinnamon raisin pastries. Cheese biscuit was also really nice; it did not require any further butter or other additions..perfect amount of crusty crispiness around the outside and moist while being light with just the right amount of salt. Delicious!
My son had the Paris Brest..a beautiful choux sandwich with hazelnut chocolate, whipped cream and custard for filling, glazed w chocolate and sprinkled with buttery toffee bits..don’t miss it if you like cream puffs! My husband is a macaroon connoisseur and he says this is the BEST..it is an extremely generous portion, caramélised on the outer edges and moist, creamy coconut inside.
This was our first time and we are already planning our order for next time :)

Came here with my wife this past weekend. The first thing I noticed was a tidy bakery and was greeted by staff. A cute young man named Alfonso was very helpful and friendly with deciding what we wanted. The sweets were delicious so 5/5

You will never find better macaroons... or homemade ice cream! They also have incredible sandwiches and lunch croissants, as well as a bounty of individual desserts, not to mention their frozen soups and dinners. From a quick treat to enough to cater a party, the Sweet Spot will not disappoint! Also be sure to check out the holiday dinner specials - and the Creamsicle ice cream!!

Cute little place in Steveston - I've lived in Richmond for so long but this is the first of been here.

So many good choices - I went for the Peach and Blueberry Frangipane and they were a delight. They were both crispy and soft. There's an option to eat in at a tiny bar by the storefront, the pastry is served on a ceramic plate and can be enjoyed with a fork. Regular brewed coffee and a variety of teas are also served here but it's predominately a pastry shop therefore it's expected they won't have specialty coffee normally found at a Cafe.

The staff was very friendly and was very knowledgeable of the ingredients used in their pastries.

If you're ever in Steveston I recommend stopping by to have a taste.

The berry tart was recommended to me and OMG was it good, especially the shortbread crust. Also got the ginger molasses cookie, raspberry tart, and the kids got chocolate croissants - all great too.

GREAT little hidden gem in Steveston. So many delicious items here. My daughter's favourite place to get Ginger Cookies. Your going to have to go back multiple times though to try all the amazing treats!
