Shaganappi Mediterranean Market

What a great place. We got the Mediterranean flat breads. Made fresh and we bought vegetables So delicious. The bread they make is also delicious.

Excellent for Mediterranean products. They provide delicious dairy products ( cheese, labne, yogurt...) but I loved the most the Bulgarian cheese. Clean, organized and fair price.

Produce is fresh, always rotating, and ridiculously inexpensive. Super friendly.
If you don't see produce you are looking for, just ask... They will check the back.
Highly recommend.

Always a great place to go! You can find anything you need for relatively cheap. The guys that work there are really nice! The bananas are always perfect and delicious!

I and m friends who live in the area, have been shopping here for well over 11 years and never been disappointed. Always fresh, always the absolute best prices too. The feta is lush and creamy. Olive selection never fails to thrill. A must to visit.

Better prices and quality than any big chain grocery store. Come for the fresh (Calgary-made) pita bread and hummus! Someone also let us know if we wanted smaller amounts of the in-store nuts, they could make a smaller bag! Thanks for the friendliness!

A well organized and friendly Mediterranean food and convenience store.

I was surprised when I first walked in, thinking it would be a convenience store with a few food items. Boy was I wrong. Great artisanal selection of cheese, meat and Mediterranean items. The best part for me is the great value on high quality produce that they have.

5/5 would shop again.

I love this little neighborhood store! Sometimes they have great deals on fresh vegetables and fruit. Their limited selection of meat is always fresh and priced reasonable. It might not have Walmart prices but I don't mind paying a little extra for quality. They have the Best eggs! I'm sure they come straight from the farm because a flat costs 6.79 and I have found that at least 1/2 of them have double yolks . The store provides mostly ethnic food (Turkish, Lebanonese etc). The owners are friendly and always willing to help if you have questions. I frequent this store at least once a week.

I have been shopping at this store for about 25 years now and I keep coming back as these people are friendly and have a good selection of dried legumes, a moderate amount of fresh produce, fresh pita every day and a nice selection of cheeses and olives.
I would rather purchase from this family business than Safeway so when shopping for groceries I go to Shaganappi Grocery to purchase what I can there and then go to Safeway.

So I went to Shoppers to try and get some eggs, and they were still out, as were many stores in my local area. Well this wonderful lady, Bonnie, (I like to ask people their names when they help me so I can say a personal thank-you) told me go around the corner to the Shaganappi Grocery Store, because they not only had an abundance of large, very fresh eggs, but an abundance of fresh produce for very cheap prices. So I raced over and to my delight -an oasis in the desert before my very eyes, and I went away with 2 large bags full of fresh fruits and veggies, including 20 large brown eggs for $6.89, for $41.23. I’m almost hesitant to post because I want this all to myself, jk. Well done!

We love Shaganappi Grocery Store. The have a great selection of Middle Eastern products as well as many fresh vegetables. They have wonderful ingredients such as feta cheeses, olives, spices, honey, baklava, lentils and halal meats. We were there yesterday and the store was full of people. Their service is excellent and they appreciate your business.

I have been shopping at the Shaganappi Grocery Store for many years now. It is one of my regular shopping stops. My favourites are: bagged very ripe tomatoes for making pasta sauce (delicious); nuts (they keep the nuts in the cooler...the best walnuts!); medjool dates (also refrigerated); bulk olives; trays of local eggs; and dried large lima beans. They sell many pitas every day. Very nice people run this store.

Excellent prices for dry goods, spices, nuts and produce. They have in-house butcher with reasonable prices. Always friendly and helpful service.

Everytime me and my husband are in the area, we always stop by Shaganappi Grocery. For a little grocery store, you can pretty much find everything you need. The produce is absolutely amazing and great quality and the price points are even better. Really love coming in to the store MashaAllah, Alhamdulillah.
