It is stressful to deal with a leak problem. Glad I found these guys. They were responsive and walked me through to avoid any more damage while I waited for them. Andrew was professional and pleasant when he arrived. Unlike the unfortunate stigma of plumbers. He arranged a time that very day and repaired my leak with new pipe and toilet installed. Price is fair for the amazing and quality of work in such short notice. Found out they also do furnace work as well. I will be definitely be using them again for my furnace in the near future.

We are so thankful we got ahold of Andrew. He answered a phone call when it was -22 at 11:30pm when we were no showed by another plumber from earlier in the day.

Andrew couldn’t get to us that evening but graciously helped us get situated until the next day and save our pipes from bursting.

Andrew was very communicative and was able to get us in the following day. Darren from his team got the job done and was pleasant to deal with.

Post the snow storm, my Water heater stopped working with some error code. Called a few experts who were quick to discuss their charges rather than inquire about the problem/error code. Finally got Andrew at ‘Calgary Plumber and Drains’ who walked me through the issue resolution over the phone not worrying about “charges” and genuinely wanting to help. He is very knowledgeable and knows his work. I would highly recommend his services.

I am just going to save you tons of time and money by telling everyone just hire this plumber. Andrew the owner is amazing. If you want details read below:
We had issues other plumbers could not figure. Andrew did in minutes. IT was not a big issue at the end (but it really seemed like a big plumbing issue related to water pressure) and he could have charged us a ton and he just charged a little.
We had a water system to remove and instead of taking our money he gave us his card and told us to tall him back after we talked to the system manufacturer because it may void warranty. I call the manufacturer and they were in awe at Andrew's honesty and said if the authorized dealer could not come disconnect our system they would authorize for Andrew to come do it. On top of everything he spent time just explaining us everything and even how to change a part that was easy but that if he did it it would be more money because of time buying the piece etc. I have called the water system manufacturer and recommended Andrew to them. Andrew is passionate about what he does and he is so full of knowledge and answered even other questions unrelated to the issues we were having but in reference to our filter that we wanted to know. He just seemed to know about everything like a very smart person that knows great detail about his field. We discovered he had tons of education on the subject. He also has an amazing honest, transparent, kind and friendly no BS personality. Thank you Andrew!!!

Highly recommend. Very very nice and upfront did not try to upsell me, told me I could get my own faucet and go to the previous person and do it within warranty I just didn't because he messed it up. There was a miscommunication the 1st time on my end and he didn't charge a dispatch fee and came right the next day to do the job. Responds super fast super professional and doesn't ask for good reviews.

This is an amazing company. I have used their services 4 times, and will use them for any future plumbing work. Vanessa at the office is very responsive. Andrew is knowledgeable and helpful. I was impressed with his honesty as well - he recommended having the City come out and augur the main pipe (a free service), instead of doing it himself and charging me. I was so happy with the installation of two new toilets that I paid for a new toilet for my parents as well!

Andrew from Calgary plumber and drains showed up to our house to see what was wrong with our hot water tank. He found that the motor was blown. Not only did Andrew not charge me for the diagnosis but to save me money he recommended Pete the plumber to get a new hot water tank installed. He could have easily done the job himself and made 300-400 dollars but he decided to help us through his sincere generosity. I just purchased an older home with all original plumbing. None of the faucets were working, toilets needed replacement, clogged drains, destroyed shower valve and so on. I started searching for a contractor in an urge and among the other companies I decided to give CalgaryPlumberanddrains a try. Andrew and Darren showed up instantly, checked everything and provided a very reasonable estimate compared to the others. Nevertheless, it was still a bit above my budget. Andrew did his best to reduce overall costs by shopping around for me. In two days I got everything replaced. The guys were professional, and this hard job was done for me ASAP. I also would like to thank Yaroslav for checking my cast iron sewer pipeline with a camera. Very satisfied with the services and definitely would recommend this contractor and will call them again as I need to further renovate my plumbing.

After receiving an astronomical quote from another plumbing company, we contacted Calgary Plumbing and Drains for a second opinion on a washing machine tap installation. Not only were they more knowledgeable, friendly and solution focused, they were also far more reasonable in the price they quoted.
From start to finish, Andrew and Vanessa responded to emails quickly and thoroughly, and kept us up to date on everything that they worked on. I’m sure they ended up doing more work than they expected, but did so with smiles on their faces and stuck to their original quote.
We are so impressed with the work they did for us, and are glad to have found a reliable and honest plumber in Calgary for future use.

I was fortunate to be introduced to Andrew through my neighborhood handyman who contacted Calgary Plumber and Drains on my behalf. Andrew called me within a day and was at my house the next to assess the problem. He was totally professional, taking his time to thoroughly examine the stack pipe and the damage that the leak caused. I so appreciated his full disclosure of the "worst case scenario" and what action had to be taken. Andrew and Darren (sp?) arrived at my home a few days later to tackle the issues, which were extensive given I live in a five level home. Throughout the repairs both Andrew and Darren were super personable and given the tight, confined spaces they had to work in, remained in excellent humor and gave me updates as they worked. Several feet of stack pipe had to be replaced over several levels, as well as the installation of a new hot water tank and the removal of an antiquated water softener. This was not a pretty job!! They worked diligently and respectively in my home and even put up with my pooch trying to help out!! The clean up was great - one wouldn't even know what transpired after they left. Going forward I will definitely utilize Calgary Plumber and Drains for any future plumbing needs I may have. My only regret is that I wasn't made aware of Andrew & Darren years ago!! I found Calgary Plumber and Drains on Google as I am new to the city and needed a garburator installation and a replacement of a leaky faucet. Andrew was super responsive, professional, and incredibly generous with his knowledge, even doing a walk-through assessment of the plumbing in my newly purchased home. I could not recommend Andrew enough as he clearly takes great pride in his work and was an absolute pleasure to have in my home.

My hot water heater broke down and started leaking at midnight during a cold snap, which isn’t ideal especially with a newborn. After calling multiple companies, Andrew was the first to answer and asked me to take pictures to access the damage and provided me with an estimate. He came in that day and installed a new hot water tank, answered all my questions and within 24 hours I had hot water working again. Overall a pleasant transaction and I would recommend and work with them again.

Called as our sewer backed up. This was my second call to a plumber for appraisal as some outfits don't want to work the weekend. This fellow informed me to call 311 to save money and the city responds fast as its their sewer. Called the city, within 30 minutes the city employees fixed my issue. This business is honest. They didn't take advantage. Flat out will use these guys for my addition. (First call to another company quoted me a grand and could do the work Monday.)

Andrew was slightly delayed but was very courteous and called to update his arrival. I needed a water filter system disconnected so that the kitchen countertop installers could do their job the next day.

He did that and we discussed various filter options even going so far as to look up the pricing for me

I have used all of the main plumbers in the city. However, Andrew was by far the best plumber I have ever used. He came immediately at night to help us out. His advice was clearly in our, not his, best interest. He gave us so many tips on how to save money and what to look out for. His pricing was so much cheaper than the other companies, but his service was exceptionally better. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Vanessa and Andrew were AMAZING! I am a new homeowner in Calgary and I called Vanessa in a panic when we accidentally drilled into our water line. Vanessa not only talked me off a ledge, but she also set me up with a plumber right away. When Andrew arrived, he fixed the issue in 5 minutes AND THEN taught us how to perform our own simple DIY repairs. He took the time to educate us and explain everything!
