Gold's Gym Calgary Country Hills

The day I entered Gold’s gym I felt very comfortable and accepted. There is no judgment at Golds. There is no sales pitch. The atmosphere is very comfortable.
The staff here are very nice, special thanks to AYAZ, he was very helpful for me with my registration process he’s make the patron feel very at ease and he was very honest and understanding. He answered every question I had. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Golds gyms for anybody who’s looking to start their fitness journey!!!!!

I'm new to town and the staff here are super inviting. They made me feel at home. It's such a big gym with everything you need for your health and fitness goals. I can't wait to try out the pool and Jacuzzis.

Today was my very first time at country hill Gold's Gym and I had some issues registering my account but komal who was the front desk personnel on shift was so professional in assisting me with gaining access without wasting anytime. I definitely will be visiting this location more often because of the very friendly and professional customer service and also because of the wide range of equipments in house.

Ayaz at the gym helped me sign up and had great customer service abilities. He handled questions and sign-ups with efficiency, friendliness, and attention to detail. His amiable manner also improved the mood among the group members. All things considered, he made a fantastic first impression for the gym and enhanced the overall experience for me.

This gym is hands down the best!! The staff at the desk are amazing and welcoming. All the personal trainers are professional and are amazing at their job! Komal always has a smile on her face even after an overnight shift and Ayaz makes the gym like a home for us guests. Gold's gym isn't the cheapest to register at and they lock you into a contract but the folks at the front desk do their part in making it worth the cost.

The front desk guy Karir at the gym was exceptional, combining a warm welcome with efficient service. His friendly demeanor made the check-in process a breeze, setting a positive tone for my entire gym experience. Had a great experience at country hills golds gym. Staff are very friendly and maintain clean equipment to work out on. One gentlemen stood out the most, Ghayaz, not sure if I’ve spelt it write but he had great energy.

Ayaz was a very polite and attentative person, he explained me and my friends about services, facility he gave us a tour and also told us about memberships. He is so supportive and calm by nature. Must visit this gym, you can access premium features of gold’s gym.

I have been a member for a few months, and I have to say that I am quite happy with this Gold's location. Even as an absolute newbie, I do not feel intimated at all. As it’s a huge gym, even when it is busy, the floor doesn’t feel crowded. It is bright, incredibly open and equipment seems decent. I initially met with the PT Manager who took the time to understand my short-term goals, addressed any questions I had, and hooked me up with my Personal Trainer Darrell. Both are fantastic to work with. Darrell was instrumental to building my confidence to work out in front of others even if my weight is light, helped me understand the logic of what I was doing, why things feel the way they do, and set me up on a path to success that I’ve never experienced in the past. Overall, my only regret is not coming in sooner as both gave me the advice, mentorship, and knowledge that I wish that I could have learned 20 years ago.

As far as my contract is concerned, I signed up for a year and it’s a standard contract where if you terminate the contact early, there is a financial penalty, but it’s nothing different from any other annual contract anywhere else.

One of the most welcoming gym I’ve ever joined. Komal is nice, friendly and hard working. I always see her cleaning.

Front staff members Ali and Matin are always very friendly and responsive to any requests, staff overall is very professional and the gym is well maintained. Extra credit to the caretaking staff who maintain this gym more than most people realize

One of the highlights of Gold's Gym Country Hills is its wide range of group fitness classes. From yoga and Zumba to cycling and HIIT, there's something for everyone. The instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, creating a motivating atmosphere in each class.

The gym also offers amenities like a sauna and steam room, which are perfect for relaxing post-workout. However, during peak hours, these areas can get crowded, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly.

One area for improvement is the availability of parking, especially during busy times. It can be challenging to find a spot close to the gym entrance, which can be inconvenient, especially in inclement weather.

Overall, Gold's Gym Country Hills offers a solid fitness experience with a good variety of equipment, classes, and amenities. With a few minor adjustments, it has the potential to be an even better gym option in Calgary.

I'd like shout out Ayaz one of the sales reps. I tried to sign up online. I was having technical issues. I had tried the chat (they were also helpful but the issue was still happening). I called the Country Hills location to see how I could sign up. Ayaz was quick, friendly and attentive while helping me fix the problem. Within minutes of our phone call he was able to fix the issue and I was able to sign up. Thank you for your help and great service, Ayaz!
