I.D.A. - Forbes Pharmacy #1 Millstream

Sent good reviews to Goldstream by mistake. Very happy with this pharmacy. Left because Costco is cheaper. I hear the service is not that great at Costco so might be back because staff at Millstream has been great to me and I appreciate the care they’ve taken with me.

Absolutely loved my experience at this location. Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Rylee was fantastic when I got my flu shot. Amy the pharmacist helped explain my new meds to me. She truly is just as smart as, if not smarter, than any doctor I've been too! I've moved around a bit and have experienced other pharmacy's like save on or superstore and none of them have been as great as this location! Will be going to this location anytime I need a prescription!

This was my first experience dealing with Slava. While I miss Sue after years of going to her, I think Slava was a great person to move in. I’ve never had a Pharmacist take as much time to explain and discuss my prescriptions. I could fill them closer to home but I choose to drive to Forbes on Millstream for the extra care and consideration from Slava’s Pharmacy. Thank you!

Slava deserves recognition for his incredible customer service even going back years to his previous work at another pharmacy. Over the last several years he has gone above and beyond in his service time and time again. He has provided flu shot clinics for the medical staff at our office for years, often on his own time. Even in the midst of covid he travelled to ensure our staff received their boosters to help us stay healthy so we could continue to see patients. I know this was above and beyond the scope of services offered by his pharmacy at the time. He has also been an incredible help with my own family, helping us navigate everything from online registration on BC health services to giving our reluctant toddler his first shot (not an easy task). I am always blown away by Slava’s kindness and genuine caring which is increasingly rare in customer service. I would recommend him for anyone seeking a caring and patient pharmacist. Thank you for everything you do!

I just wanted to take the time and acknowledge how wonderful and kind the staff are at this pharmacy was. I had dealt with Jenny who went above and beyond for me. She even placed an order for me for items they didn’t have in stock and was so pleasant. Unfortunately after all of this I had realized I had accidentally called the wrong Forbes and was supposed to call the one on Goldstream. I had to call her back and cancel my order and explain the mixup. Regardless , she was so kind and understanding of my mistake and made me feel like it wasn’t a big deal at all when most places would have made a point that what I did was a big deal and I had wasted their time and I would have ended up feeling awful because of their attitudes. Not this place. !!! They are beyond helpful, as I had asked about something else and she was happy to actually check the shelves. Not just put me on hold and pretend and come back and say no , which happens all too often by the bigger pharmacies because they can’t be bothered to look for stuff. Anyways, I came away from this phone call extremely satisfied and happy even though I didn’t order anything because it was the incorrect pharmacy I called. People like Jenny need to be recognized because customer service is important at all times. Not just when you’re making a sale. I would highly recommend this pharmacy ( the Forbes on Millstream ) and Jenny made my experience so much easier , better and she was happy the whole time and understood my mistake. I wish more pharmacies had people like Jenny working for them as I feel customer service has gone down the drain at majority of stores on Vancouver island. I hope she gets recognized for her amazing customer service and going above and beyond. It makes such a huge difference because if someone ever asks me for a pharmacy in this area of course I’m going to recommend Forbes on millstream. Thank you for making my day Jenny with your positive attitude and authentic kindness. I hope this pharmacy does well and prosperous because they deserve it. All my best to everyone that works there.

Lovely pharmacy staff, always greeted with a smile and kind eyes. Incredibly faster wait times than my last pharmacy and I don’t feel like a hassle when asking for a recommendation

I cannot speak highly enough about the service I have received by Sue and the others at this pharmacy. My husband and I have used this pharmacy for the last 23 years and trust them completely. They are knowledgable about their products and are eager to assist when asked. I was also there when a staff member showed patience and caring while trying to help a client who needed a prescription refilled but did not have a renewal for it. They really do go above and beyond to help.

I can only speak of my own experiences coming to Forbes Millstream, which have always been pleasant and considerate. Sue in particular has always ensured I feel supported and listened to with any questions I may have. Perhaps the negative reviews are from days where the pharmacists and staff have had a particularly taxing day (as anyone in customer service can understand). I would very much recommend this pharmacy:)

Great pharmacy. The professionals at Forbes Millstream embody what a community pharmacy truly means. On many occasions have gone above and beyond with personalized care (once called us to let us know our son left his epipen at a local restaurant, then followed up to confirm that we were able to retrieve it). Highly recommended.

Their ability to fill any prescription within 30 mins makes them the best pharmacy in Victoria. Kind and considerate staff, always helpful.

This was always my neighborhood pharmacy, I switched to Shoppers for a while as they had later hours, but I switched back as Shoppers was horrible. Very glad I'm back!
