Mallard Lounge

Live music daily is definitely a plus. Plenty of food and drinks offered for being a lounge. Best thing was the bartender was able to make a customized drink. It wasn’t quit the same but pretty close. This is a nice place to come down in the evening to hang out if u r staying in the Fairmont hotel.

Dinner and a show! No host/hostess so you just sit down wherever there's a seat and then someone will come serve; we didn't wait more than a few minutes and got drink orders in. So if you're here for food, the prime rib roast is awesome - I think it's gotta be the best roast I've had out. It's a huge piece too. Partner had chicken sandwich, not as good, I got him to help me out with the prime rib... that jus was fantastic! And the show part - he was super talented and got audience participation happening... all very cool.

We make a point of visiting the Mallard Bar every time we come to Whistler. We come for the live music and atmosphere, the food never disappoints. On our recent visit (April 11th) we were thrilled with our server Holly. She has such positive energy and was genuinely happy to serve us, taking an interest in our vacation, and inviting us back another day. We will definitely look for her on our next visit!

Absolutely delicious cocktails, live music, super service. We loved the Ruby and can’t stop coming back for it.

Great food and drinks in an awesome setting. Easy to enjoy apres and/or a cozy dinner here.

Lina made my most recent visit to Whistler incredible! After skiing all day, it was nice to be greeted with top tier service. She made the most wonderful drinks, and gave great recommendations on the food menu. Chatting with her was very pleasant and she even gave advice on what to do around the town with my family. The hotel is great - but Lina is amazing and is the sole reason I would come back! 12/10

I was in a few days ago and our bartender Lina was very personable. Had some good recommendations on some activities outside of skiing, have good recommendations on drinks (love a good cocktail) and we didn't have to wait long at all. Really enjoyed my time at the bar. Will be back and hoping for more recommendations from her. Very pleased.

Super excited they were open for dining in and patio when we stayed at the Fairmont. Very elegant with beautiful views of the mountains. Inside decor is upscale; outside is more casual but just as beautiful. Food is just fabulous. Over the time I have tried three items: burger (double decker burger), chicken, and prime rib dip. These are all common food but they don’t taste like your common food. Prime rib is hands down the best I have ever had. Fries were a bit too dry (too crispy?) though but I’m forgiving on that considering the quality of everything else! Oh and you should try their chairs by the fire pits. Perfect for night time chat over wine and their layered chocolate cake!

I was staying at Fairmont Whistler for a night. It was raining hard that night and so glad my husband and I got a table by the entrance of the restaurant (it was about a 10 minute wait, not bad for a busy night).

There was live music, the artist singing was amazing, he really set the vibe and ambiance for the night. As we already ate dinner, we only ordered cocktails and a charcuterie board. Everything tasted amazing and the staff were really friendly.

I would recommend you book a table ahead of time. I was lucky to get a table but the few others behind me ended up waiting 45 minutes for their tables and they were on a small group as well.

We had drinks here after arriving, and lunch twice (by request of our children)
Wings were done exceptionally well.
Salt and pepper with buffalo on the side was a great suggestion.
Our kids enjoyed them immensely.

They serve bar snacks with lunch, which were also a hit with our kids.

Stunning atmosphere. Comfortable seating no matter where you sit. Great service. Our waitress was friendly and had great recommendations. Live music set the mood, and you can't beat the free bowl of nutz-n-boltz

We have been coming here once every the other year whether we go to Whistler. The lounge is a spacious yet cozy & classy space with leather couches and wood burning fireplace right next the outdoor patio with very high ceilings and plenty of sunshine streaming in most days. Awesome high quality service every time we visited. The food is better than standard as usual. But the overall experience is well worth the money.

We had the best lunch experience with Antonio, our server. All his recommendations were good, and boy, we had the best tasting lamb shank. The service was exceptional, Antonio is very warm and accommodating. Overall the food was good but the service was even better. Will definitely go back !!

One of the most beautiful spaces in Whistler. The lounge at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We stopped by late in the afternoon after a long walk. Excellent service. We split a Cobb salad and a steak salad. Both were outstanding. Besides the food it was just so nice to sit at our table and watch as the last of the light faded away through the tall glass windows.

We came to lounge here after a morning of some activity and enjoyed the hospitality and offerings. Definitely recommend the duck wings and salmon.

There new vegetarian burger 🍔 is alot better then that 2022 tofu sandwich that was falling apart . But Its still not the ultimate best like the one they had in 2021 that had jackfruit in it ( Currently my favorite place for veggie burgers at Fairmount is the Olympic Fairmount in Seattle its ordered by special request when the chef there who makes them is working that day its the best Currently ) the mallard lounge has wonderful music entertainment like adam Robert Thomas who plays twice a month (but be better if it was more then twice a month ) and other good musicians too thoughout the months 💜🎶🎵 . Its got a big outside patio with firepits. The chairs inside are extremely comfy . I added the menu's for drinks and food.

Lina’s attention to detail is impeccable. She is one of a kind and goes above and beyond for her customers. Her cocktail she created (cast away) is not only delicious but entertaining to watch her make. She is such a delight! Will be returning because of her service.

I was here with friends and it happened to be my friend's birthday. We loved the food, cocktails, and live performances.

Tobi was waiting on us that night and she went above and beyond to accommodate my vegan friend. She was kind and pleasant, and it made our experience at Mallard significantly nicer.
