This is probably the best public beach park in Whistler! Dog friendly section and dog dock that is separate from others. Multiple docks. Limited parking so maybe ride bikes. Short ride from the village along valley trails. Volleyball courts. Note this park is closed June 5 2023 for some construction for a month or two.

Fantastic place for swimming and recreation. The views are spectacular and the people are very friendly and law abiding. We noticed that it’s very family friendly, which we were not expecting. There’s a separate section for dogs which is great because we’re not much into swimming with stranger dogs.
Something to note is that if you pay attention to the wildlife underwater, you will notice tiny fish that are not shy to swim up to your feet, which I enjoyed a lot since it was my first time noticing fish that interact with you and not swim away!
Overall, very positive experience with lots of views and clear calm lake for swimming and paddling.

Loved it a lot! Very clam and serene place. Extremely fresh air and unbelievably beautiful lake and mountain views. More than enough space for a big family to have a lovely picnic. Can swim and/or ride bicycles here. I visited during late afternoon hours so there were hardly any people there. There was a chilly wind blowing which made things even better.

Rainbow Park 🌈 was awesome! TONS of grassy area to put a towel down and suntan, or have a picnic. There is lots of sand to play in and a sand volleyball court.
There is a yummy Crepe truck there too! The washrooms are clean and plentiful. The only thing not plentiful there is Parking !! Recommend checking it out!!!

This is the perfect park for family, has something for everyone. Shallow water for kids, swimming, super flat bike trail for kids, connectivity to lakeside park via bike, Asian food truck (must try) and beach volleyball. Parking is limited and gets full quickly on good days. Clean restrooms and multiple water points. Wide stretch of grass around the lake.

Lot of open space with a great view of the blackcomb mountain.

Can’t wait to visit here during the summer!
Must visit and a short walk from the Whistler village.

A fantastic place to hang out in the snow and to make a gigantic snow ball.
The area is very well equipped with bathroom facilities and undercover areas. I really enjoy the wide area of snow and the frozen shoreline where you can traverse the delicate, partially frozen parts of the lake.
It is a very quick drive from whistler village to this place. The empty parking lot full of snow is great for donuts

Took the family here for a short 15 minute bike ride from the village via Valley Trail. Nice little park with beautiful mountains views. Great for swimming. There's tables for picnics but not too many shades. Bring a blanket to sit under the trees for shade. There's a couple of volleyball nets set up for people to enjoy and a food truck that serves pizzas. A bit breezy on the day we visited.
