We have purchased two new travel trailers over the last three years from Big Boys Toys and have found Ian and his team exceptional to work with. There were some issues with the latest trailer that Ian went way above and beyond to correct. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I will definitely purchase my next RV from them.

The entire team (sales, owners, finance, etc.) was wonderful to work with. Communication was great and they didn't pressure us at all, they provided amazing assistance in one of our largest purchases we've made which made the whole experience much less stressful. Highly recommend!

Big Boys Toys has been exceptional since the day we bought our tent trailer nearly a year ago. Their communication is impeccable, their customer service is one of a kind out of this world amazing. I didn't expect such incredible service after buying a tent trailer and not something super expensive, so it came as a surprise to be treated so well right from when I walked on their lot.

Back in March of 2023 my mom and I were wanting to move up from a camping in a tent, so we started looking around at tent trailers. I reached out and heard right away from one of their salespeople. From the moment we got down there, they tended to us and took us through all the tent trailers. We left having picked one. A day later I changed my mind and wanted a small RV, and then another day later changed my mind again. Through my indecisiveness they were gracious and never pressured me to make a choice, they just provided the pros and cons of each choice. When I finally settled, they kept in contact throughout the process of preparing it. We went to pick it up and they took all the time we needed to make sure we understood how to set it up and take it down along with how the braking system worked and how to tow it.

In June I reached out because I noticed a part of the canvas coming apart. I reached out and within minutes heard back from Grace who took care of getting the warranty approved. She even went so far as to ask Forest River if it was OK for us to use since it was camping season and deal with it in the fall. Upon doing some camping I noticed a few other things that I figured would be under warranty, so I again reached out and again Grace got back to me within minutes. She again contacted Forest River and got everything approved for after the camping season.

In the fall we took the tent trailer back for the warranty work. Every Friday like clockwork Dave would reach out and update me on what was happening and where things were at with the warranties and winterization. I got an email about a coupon for the winterization and even though mine would not get done before the coupon expired, Dave honored it.

In early January my dog was diagnosed with cancer and around the same time Dave had reached out to say the tent trailer was finished being fixed and winterized. I asked if we could pick it up on one of the days, I took my dog to Vancouver for chemo to which Dave said yes and then proceeded to tell me not to worry about it and just take care of my dog. Well January went by, February went by and half of March. In March I found out the chemo was detrimental on my dog's bone marrow, so I had to stop it. It was then that my mom and I made the trip down to Big Boys Toys to pick up the trailer. When we got there, they invited the dogs in and showed genuine care for us and our pets.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for their care, empathy, and compassion at a difficult time. They graciously kept our tent trailer without complaint or hassling us to pick it up and, instead encouraged us to take care of ourselves and our furry family first.

This is a first-rate one-of-a-kind business that cares for their customers weather you buy a $100 000+ dollar unit or a unit under $10 000. If you are looking for an RV and for a business that looks beyond profit and actually cares about customer service, their clients and potential clients, then look no further than Big Boys Toys... Very friendly staff. I was looking for some replacement parts for my travel trailer the other day and found a very good selection of parts in stock along with helpful advice. I found what I needed and was on my way!

I purchased a 5th wheel here and had some reservations about it at first however these guys not only took care of me. They ensured I was happy and I had a issue after the fact that was corrected very fast.i would recommend these guys to buy from excellent experience thanks Big boy toys.

If you're looking for an RV on the island, and want to go to multiple places then you have to make sure to include these guys on your shopping journey. With a great selection on location, along with what they can bring in for you; many of the class B's that they may not always have on the lot for instance. From the owners on down they are just an exceptional group of people that are willing to accommodate and work with a disability if required. I've purchased my second class B from them and if I ever purchase a 3rd I know exactly where I'm going.

If unfortunately you have any issues with your RV, which in some respects is inevitable, then I assure you you're in great hands with Adam the manager in service, he will take care of you. Whatever issues you have they will help you work through them until completion along with good communication when required.

I would like thank Gary and Owners on the purchase of our Mercedes Unity. Very happy with the deal and service. Smooth and painless when you have People with knowledge on the Product they sell. I definitely would deal with Big Boys again.

Had a great experience doing a factory order of our 2020 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS with Dale (our sales guy) and Larry (business manager). Adam (service and parts manager) helped us pick out a new hitch and carefully explained options and accessories that we could add aftermarket( solar panels and more batteries). Adam even helped after we picked up the unit to get some diagrams of the water system for us to install a water filter. During pickup, several techs at big boys toys fully explained everything from using the auto level system to operating the appliances. The owner, Ian even helped out when the techs encountered the new Bluetooth gateway system and he explained how it worked. Darren ( service advisor) is now helping us out on some warranty repairs and is keeping us informed each step of the way. So far impressed with their full service operation and support they provide.

I bought my first travel trailer from big boys toy. The customer service is stellar and the knowledge of the staff is excellent. I highly recommend dealing with them for your next trailer purchase. Thanks to Ian , Josh and Marika for making this such an easy and pleasurable experience.

I have purchased a trailer from Big Boy's Toy's and always recommend them to friends and family. The owners are wonderful people to deal with. It feels like they are in it to ensure you find what suites your families needs to make wonderful memories as we have. I have called the staff on the fly to ask questions and they are always helpful. I also enjoy stopping into the parts department a couple times in the year to find fun little items for the season, as well as items I really don't need but now must have, so they have a great parts area too. I’ve dealt with every RV company on Vancouver Island over the last 40+ years, & these guy’s are by far the best. I’ve recently had a solar panel installed and some repairs done on our motorhome and their service & promptness has been exceptional! I needed an awning replacement before going on an extended trip, & with almost no notice, they got it installed before we left. We purchased our brand new RV and flew in from out East to pick it up. Our leap of faith paid off! Dale and Marika always answered our questions and never made us feel like we bothered them. The BBT team are all great to work with, and in particular Dale Geddes. During the height off the Pandemic Dale brought us from no RV knowledge to owning a Northern Lite Camper that was perfect for us. When you’ve been on the road for a year, you get to deal with many RV dealers and shops! Big Boys Toys has been fantastic. Darren in Servicing has always helped us no matter how far from home. He gets answers back quickly, helps manage a plan and doesn’t treat us like so many other dealers. The whole team has been great to work with from sales, parts and service. And we didn’t even buy from them and they still treat us like family. If you own an RV you know all about that!
