Open later than other locations nearby, which is the reason we stopped in. I'm very glad we did! The stuffed chicken was delightful and sweet - the waiter's recommendation. Tasty salad as well!

Best staff always a party every weekend

Me and my fiancé went there for drinks this evening. The staff were excellent and the prices for cocktails and martinis were really good prices especially during happy hour. It’s a very clean and secure place. Not stupid loud and filled with frat boys like most bars downtown.

Definitely would recommend for drinks as the prices like I said are great. We didn’t try any food but the prices on the menu are really good. Definitely would recommend!!!

Great happy hour! My girlfriend and I ordered some nachos and bacon wrapped scallops, portions were generous and delicious probably meal size for average people. I actually ran out of chips before toppings!

The cocktails ordered on happy hour were flavourful and complex really well done. That's a bit harder to find I noticed. As for size they were a good size / price even off happy hour, definitely have gotten a lot less for the price and rarely much more.

Great atmosphere with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders! Our bartender was Tim yet we chatted with another two gentlemen as well.

Also bathrooms were clean and they have small towels instead of paper which I really must say is a nice touch from a conservative standpoint and as a nice way to wash nacho toppings out of your beard afterwards...

Would definitely come back for happy hour again! Thank you!

Wow... Went in with a group of 4 with no expectations and were blown away.

At happy hour 5-9pm all food items are $7, drinks are a good price, atmosphere is great, service was amazing and everything we ate was top notch... This place seems like it should be higher end, yet the price is such a good value.

I'm not from Halifax, but if I was this would be a go to spot for me.

Love this place! Martini Mondays are the best! Also went here on a Wednesday night and it felt like I was at a club! Dj played the music I wanted and my friends and I danced the night away. Awesome atmosphere and bartender is very friendly and can really mix a drink.

There's nowhere else to be dt on a Monday night. The martinis are amazing and the prices are equally amazing for the quality of the drinks and apps. Service is great and friendly. Not a bad thing to say about one of the classiest places in hali.

Was at the Bitter End for a private travel industry event and loved the intimate atmosphere. Their martinis are very very yummy. Prices are pretty standard to above average, depending on what you're in the mood for. The hors d'oeuvres that were circulated were great too!

A casual visit to this Bar with my friend turned into a Martini Day. Hands down this place serves the best Martinis in Halifax. Purple Pleasure and Sour Apple are must trys.

Just spent the better part of an evening here and Lance (the manager) and Curly ( the bartender) could not have treated me better. These 2 treated me like gold and made various drinks for me with the only guidance that it has gin, I have never had better bar service than Curly serving me a gin martini and some snacks to keep me busy while I hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Amazing job by these 2!

My second visit to the Bitter End was much more enjoyable then the first. Very happy I returned. Nick gives the quality of service that in everyway, is spot on. He is truly an asset to this bar. I'll be back.

Martini Monday!! Love bitter end

Had a great rainy Saturday night here after dinner. We sat under the plastic outdoor canopy wrapped in warm blankets they gave us.

Night and day from my experience 3 years ago, special shout out to our server Marika for a great night. Attentive, friendly, and quick given how busy it was.
