I walked in here and everything smelled amazing! Beautiful store, and well organized.

I didn’t know I needed a perfectly shaped ice cube, but this store made me want one!

Clean store with easy to navigate layout. All the produce looks very fresh. Love the selection of pre made food.
They have fruits to go, sandwiches, soups - you name it!

Clean and organized small size grocery store with a display of fresh vegetables and a good selection of international products. There are a good selection of precooked food such as roast chicken, sandwiches, soups, Jamaican patties, and onigiri. Their bread is made on-site and pretty fantastic to bring to a picnic. Definitely recommend visiting if you live or work nearby. Maybe you’ll be able to find that item you forgot from your grocery list or pick up something for lunch/dinner.

Arthur's Urban Market is a true hidden gem tucked away at the bottom of the Maple Apartments on Hollis street in Halifax - Offering a curated collection of high-quality, artisanal products from nearby farms and producers. Besides going to Costco every few months to stock up on a few things, Arthur’s is our GO TO grocery store. If you haven’t been… you definitely want to check it out!

Arthurs supports local. Their food is always fresh and the store is always super clean. You can tell this family business really takes pride in their work. We need more businesses like Arthur’s.

Love the breads here, pricy, but then again everything is these days. They make banh mi buns, I've been 3x and never had any. They are very pricy tho. The sourdough was top notch.

Little grocery store right in the centre of downtown. Individual meals, fresh tasty pastries, fruits, drinks, meats & dry goods. Seating area outside. Polite friendly staff.

Best boutique groceries on Hollis. Love it here. Great baked bread too!

Very nice little grocery store right by the harbor in Halifax. Very tasty fresh baked goods, some fresh fruit and select produce.

A great market for fresh convenient food items.

Popped in for the first time on the weekend and was envious that I don't work (nearby often) or live close by. The bakery - oh my! I stopped myself from buying one of everything but did manage to grab a San Francisco sourdough and a cranberry & pumpkin seed loaf - both were so, so good. I foresee a weekend ferry ride over for a bread missions soon!

Arthur's Urban Market is great when you're in a pinch and need something! They typically have everything I am looking for, and the prices are comparable to large grocery stores in the city. The store is clean, the selector is acceptable for the size of the store, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help! A great alternative for large nation wide chains.

Stopped by Arthur's market today on my walk home. Was pleasantly surprised by all of the fresh vegetables. I bought a butter chick pizza for dinner and it did not disappoint. 100% will be coming back to try some more of their pre made meals!!

It is a small market, but it has many products that are not available in big supermarkets. It feels like you are in UK. I found ungrated pecorino romano cheese, unbelievable varieties of cheeses, almost all types of mushrooms, many mochi ice-cream flavours, asian pears, huge options of kombucha, lots of sausages and etc, which are hard to find else where. They have Xylitol! Vegan, gluten-free and organic products are available in abundance. The bakery on site is great for fresh bread and pastries. Great ready to go meals. Unfortunately it closes at 7pm and their website needs to be improved. The 4 cashiers are small, not enough room makes it hard to pack. Some products are pricey than average. Overall it is a nice market with great location in city centre. Already planning for my next visit.
