I got a VIP card from this bakery long time ago, so I get 10% off on all the orders. I came to buy cakes many times.

I ordered four small fruit tarts, a chocolate cake, sesame cake and white chocolate mousse with red bean and matcha cake. Total was about $12. Everything tastes great. The bakery has some Chinese Hong Kong style buns. They taste like other Chinese buns. I don't find any big differences between this Hong Kong style of bakery and others.

The bakery is located in the same complex of 2000 supermarket on Capstan Way. Sometimes the complex has many cars and it is hard to find parking in front of the bakery. Then we need to park further away and walk to the bakery.

Today we bought a fresh mango fruit cake for someone's birthday. Oh my goodness! The mango was so good. It was sweet and fresh and it smelt really good! It was irresistible!

Friendly staff, fresh foods, their mango sago pomelo cake is the best!

I have tried many Asian bakeries in Richmond and Vancouver. Janice Cake shop, is by far the BEST place for cakes. Their mango cake is so fresh and fluffy, yet still satisfying your sweet tooth! All of the cakes I have tried taste of high quality and you can tell they use the best ingredients!

Prices for cakes are very reasonable; especially compared to that other cake shop in the same plaza. Flavors are more sophisticated and less sweet. They also don't smother their cakes with frosting!

The best, and most fantastic Mango Cake you will ever have. Don't look at the price, just give the young lady behind the counter your money, smile, take your cake, and say thank you.

You will be coming back for more. Yes, it's in Richmond, yes you will have to drive, and yes, you will be risking your life. It is worth it. While risking your life, I would recommend stopping by LA Chicken for some of the best fried chicken in BC. Why not, you're driving in Richmond and you've already risked your life, better have some amazing chicken and fantastic mango cake. Life is short after all.

My go-to Asian cake shop for the past few years! Fluffiest sponge cake and perfect cream to cake ratio. Usually come for the mango or fresh fruit cakes, and often will leave with bread and a slice of something else to try~

Bought a delicious Chestnut Cake from this cute little bakery. The lady helping me was delightful , most definitely will return.

IMO, this is the best Chinese bakery store in Richmond, based on the overall quality in breads, cakes and confectionery.

I’ve been going to Janice cake shop for so many years I can’t even remember. The staff there is very friendly and their bun selection is amazing. Their cake and bun quality are top notch too.

I highly recommend their durian cake! They give you chunks of it in between layers of their soft sponge. Their sponge is not overly sweet so the fruit can really shine!

The fresh mango cake is my favourite but all the cakes are delicious for a reasonable price (esp. NY cheese and Swiss roll cakes)
