Hilton Saint John

After a long day of driving and getting lost on the way to the air bnb that I booked but couldn't find, I ended up at the Hilton Saint John, and I couldn't be happier!
From the start, Location is great! The market next door is very cool!
The staff: Rosalie greeted me warmly and graciously. She listened to my travel woes and assisted me with great compassion and expert assistance! She checked in on me to male sure everything was good with my stay and made sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing and rest filled night along with a delicious meal from the hotel bistro. I recommend the fresh squeezed lemonade and fish & chips!
The room was perfect! There was an issue with my key entry but the maintenance staff was very responsive, fast and friendly.
In the morning I had the breakfast buffet. The food was fresh and nice and the staff was delightful!
At checkout, Esther helped me and was very positive, joyful and friendly.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Saint John!

Spent a week here in March. Had an excellent harbor facing room. Room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable.
Staff and service were excellent.

The rooms could benefit from amenities such as a microwave, atleast one on the floor next to the ice machine.

One of the better places to stay in Saint John.

Excellent Hotel. Very clean rooms, friendly staff. Couldn’t be more conveniently located. Would definitely stay again. Room 807, what a view.

The Hilton saved us after a bad night at another location. With a view of the water and early check in, we were so happy! Our room was great (minis the bathroom door that didn’t open well). Beds were comfy, shower was great and location was perfect! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff at a great waterfront location.

Just a getaway night for my wife and I and the Hilton is perfect. A Christmas Party next door at the Convention Centre and no worries about the night. Just had fun.

Good location would recommend getting breakfast included in your room rate also parking is in building across the street $18 per day or $25 a day with ability to leave and return.

The location is awesome. Ester at the front desk helped me out a lot. I really appreciated that. It was close to all the local things walking distance mostly. The rooms were clean. And all the staff was friendly and welcoming.

We had a beautiful king bed with city and harbor view. What a great service, we were in our honeymoon and everywhere we went they knew an treated us like royalty gave us complementary champagne/postcard/gift bag plus last 2 days of free buffet breakfast. We need it a microwave and got it like in 15 minutes. Staff at restaurant buffet super nice (mainly Judith), front desk as well. Will be back, we give it 5+ starts

Nothing about this hotel is “neglected” contrary to a review I read. The hotel is older but it has character and nothing about our room was different from any 5 star hotel in Toronto. There is an elevator from underground parking to lobby and a boardwalk that can be all yours at night. There are bars and great restaurants right up the road. Staff is friendly and helpful. $150 for a waterfront hotel and people still complain smh

Room was clean and well kept. Pool is a good size, and was well cleaned and maintained. Breakfast buffet was very good, and reasonably priced. One of the elevators was out of service while we were there, so wait times for the 2nd elevator were long, and there was a bit of crowding on the elevator. Other than that, 0 complaints, would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in downtown Saint John.

Lovely visit- everyone was warm and welcoming (and very helpful). We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Great view of the harbor. The kids loved watching seals play in the harbor and a brief dip in the salt water pool, though they wished it was warmer! I hope to come back to explore more of Saint John!

My GPS tried to put me through a one way intersection - the other way. Other than that easy to find.
The bed had some obvious damages to it and the Hilton reimbursed us a complimentary breakfast - thus the 4/5 for room but the 5/5 for service.
They even had a microwave next to the vending machines in the lobby for late night food heating.
A very good stay. I'd recommend it to travellers to this fine east coast city. Some very wonderful people here.

Our first time here and we enjoyed it. The location on the waterfront is super and will only get better as the city completes the redevelopment work. Saint John is an attractive city with lots to see and plenty of dining options. The Hilton is what I expected from my favorite chain, friendly, clean, quiet and fairly priced. Would definitely stay again.

It has a quaint-feel, very much like the town itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly be looking to stay again whenever I return to Saint John. My room had a wonderful waterfront view. The only downside for me was that I couldn't get food at night, was told the restaurant had closed.

Great Hotel! We had a suite on the 11th floor, the view was amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, the room was very spacious and beautiful. The staff were great very helpful. Breakfast was very good with different choices. I've stayed at this hotel many times it's always been nice to go back.

As an artist visiting Saint John on business, I requested an upper level room with a city view. The front desk staff gave us great assistance to meet this request, and their good cheer and help was superior. Upon arrival in the room I found the view of the city which met my dream. We had an excellent stay in the city, the hotel location being close enough for us to walk to every thing we wished to do in the Uptown area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. There was some intermittent mechanical noise, but we were on the 12th floor and I imagine being on a lower floor this would be less likely to intrude or, if you are like me and my wife and can sleep through anything then this wouldn't be a problem. All I can say about the room, the staff, and the location is Wow!

Stayed here with my younger kids for their March Break package and I'm glad we did. Staff was very nice, room was very clean,my kids had fun with their activities and they loved their snacks and breakfast delivered to their room! I was also upgraded to a Harborview room which was nice. Thank you very much!
