Pomegranate Grillhouse & Cafe

One of the few restaurants we visited when we were in North Van! If I remember correctly, I think it was the owner who served and cooked our pizza - AND IT WAS GOOD! Being able to see the owner prepare the whole thing was definitely the charm of the restaurant for me! Looking forward to coming back and trying their other dishes soon!

oh heck! I don't know where to start from. first of all, the owners and chefs made great personal relationships with us! secondly omg the burger!!!!!!! even though it's pricey it was so worth it. these burgers they make is so unique. and also the pizza! we ordered 8 pizzas I think. and boy, it was so tasty! I have decided everytime I go to deep cove I'm going back to this place.

What I love about the Pomegranite Grill is that the food is homemade and tastes like the chef takes the time to make sure the burgers and tasty and juicy, the fries crispy and the pizza crust just right. The atmosphere is friendly and unassuming. It’s an awesome Deep Cove restaurant that you should visit after a kayak or hike.

Amazing pizza, cold beer and to complete the service is perfect. The best pizza that I ate in Vancouver area.

Delicious pizza, awesome service, went with my kiddo, owner offered little guy books to read, put on the game because we were wearing a jersey, and later some Sesame Street! Family owned goodness! Thank you!

This place has SO much character! (If you’re looking for an uptight, professional place to eat this probably isn’t the place for you.) My boyfriend ordered the double burger, and was asked to flex his muscles to prove he could actually eat it. 😂 (And yes, he finished it, but I almost had to roll him home!) Yes the prices are above average, but the burger I had was SO worth it, and I love supporting family businesses. We’ll definitely be back!

Cosy environment with persian tokens around. The pizzas we tried got me back to my childhood (typical Persian taste and smell). The dough is handmade and fresh. The burgers looked fresh and were handmade though I didn't tried. The couple, who work and own there, are friendly.

Pomegranate is easily my favourite place in Deep Cove and arguably the best pizza on the entire north shore.

A family run business that serves one HELL of a chicken pesto pizza and some of the best burgers I've ever eaten.

Delicious food, tremendous and friendly service in an environment that isn't trying to be bougie as hell. Good honest restaurant ran be good honest people.

I cannot recommend it enough

We decided we wanted pizza for dinner, and chose this place based on the reviews. We were glad we did! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food (pizza) was delicious and made fresh. Super great spot and has places to sit inside and outside. We would definitely come here again!

Perhaps the name is attracting people who don't know how to appreciate good pizza, maybe the way the older gentleman interact with customers is a tad bit off-putting. But this place is where the truly pizza lovers should go. Best dough I've had in Canada! Had lunch before dropping in, finished one in the restaurant and ordered a second to go. A hidden gem for pizza lovers.

If I had to rename the restaurant, it would be Deep Cove Novo Pizza.

Great family run restaurant with a friendly and welcoming vibe. Pizza was great, overall very enjoyable experience for me & my friends. Even though we didn't have sleeve tattoos and lip piercings like most other deep cove locals, they made us feel like regulars. Ask the serving staff about their snapchat!

Excelllent homemade charbroiled burger and homemade pizza. Went for a hike and was feeling hungry with my partner. We saw the funny sign outside and thought why not?

We were impressed by the cozy atmosphere and welcoming service. Also got a chance to catch up on the game on TV. They have really good beer on tap that also hit the spot. Will be back again.

The place to go for an Amazing burger in Deep Cove! The burger was homemade and topped with a special sauce and the perfect bun! The owners/cooks are a husband and wife and they were so friendly and delightful! The service might be a tad slow for some but we thought it was perfect! Who wants to be in a rush in such a beautiful peaceful place like Deep Cove. I would highly recommend.

An amazing place! Everyone friendly and helpful the whole time. The burgers had that kind of homemade taste to them that made them really good! If you're in Deep Cove and feeling like burgers or pizza I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

Bunch of friends and I went boating last weekend for my stag and we went here after for food. The food was good but the service was better. 9 of us spent a couple of hours here, eating, drinking and having a real good time. Thanks to the waiter (owners son from what I recall) for putting up with us and even joining in on the fun. I definitely recommend this place!

I am a certified pizza monster and we could not order just 1 pizza. Truth be told, were I not afraid of my wife's judgements, I would have ordered 5! Some of the best dough I've ever had.

Food was good but service was fantastic. Super warm and friendly guy which made the whole experience awesome and fun. We had the burger and beers, was good!

Great tasting homemade pizza! The owner even made my pizza by special order which made my experience extra special. I loved the home style feel of the restaurant and how you could taste the quality and freshness of their pizza. Highly recommend this place!

Very tasty pizza and cold pitcher beer.

Casual with very friendly staff/owner. Burgers very good with great buns! I had the salmon and it was baked to perfection! The fries were perfect— crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
