I called Shawn (who was recommended by a friend) on Christmas Eve in a panic with a busted hot water tank.
Even though he was unable to assist over the holidays due to staffing and closures, he was incredibly helpful on the phone and gave names of other places to call, places to avoid and prices we should expect to get quoted.
We ended up doing without a new tank over the Christmas break and lined up a replacement with CityWide when they were able to fit us in. Jordan was helpful via email in ensuring the tank would fit into our crawlspace and Brian was quick and efficient when he came to install the tank.
After nearly 5 days with no water we are grateful to have a working hot water tank and very happy with the service.
Edit - our new tank ended up having a faulty thermostat. Shawn, Jordan and the Citywide team were very responsive and helpful in determining the issue and getting it fixed ASAP.

Wow shawn and his crew Jesse and Chris were outstanding just had our new Train heat pump installed. Extreamly professional and answered all questions ...took the time to run through our new investment cleaned up after installation even vacuumed up ...we are so impressed...highly recommended company thank a lot guys you are great 👍

We had a Trane heat pump installed in December 2019. It has served us very well. We saved 30% on our heating bill in the first year. Recently the motors in the heads became noisy - bearing wear. Brandon installed new motors at no cost. I did not realise the motors were under waranty. Brandon did a deep clean at a reasonable rate. We were very impressed by Brandon's deep knowledge of our system, his friendly and easy going manner compared to two other heat pump contractors who charged through the nose and did seem to have any more than a superficial knowledge of what they were doing. It is great to know our system is running like new again. Thank you Citywide and Brandon

We had Shawn and his team (Cody and Zack) install our new ductless mini heat pump. We were very impressed with the professionalism of Cody and Zack, how respectful they were of our home, how clean they kept everything and how they explained the product to us. They were very knowledgeable, professional, worked hard and I was very comfortable having them in our home. And the heat pump is amazing!!! We recently had a ductless heat pump system installed by Shawn and his team (Jesse and Chris) following a very hot summer. During the walk through Shawn was honest and came up with an efficient solution that would work in our space and yet not break the bank. After accepting the quote Jesse and Chris completed the install within a day. The team was very professional, polite, clean, and efficient. After install the team has also been great for answering questions and quickly fixing an electrical mishap caused by us. The customer service is truly top notch. Shawn was great while he came to provide a quote, and walked me through all possibilities and how that would add value to my home. He has an outstanding team and they all work so well together. Cody, Jesse, Mike and Chris all were outstanding in the work they did.

Special call out to Cody and Jesse who are perfectionists and made sure the look and feel of our home was intact and made sure every single thing was taken into account while they worked.

All in all, I do recommend their services and commend their ability to keep the area clean after they finish the work.

Kudos to a great team work as they worked in unison, and showcases how Shawn keeps the entire crew together. Shawn made sure he visited often to check how things were going and reassured everything will be fine when they finished. Thanks Shawn.

Had a new gas water heater installed by Citywide Plumbing as they do installations for Home Depot. Shawn was very helpful in answering my questions and setting up an appointment. Bryan and Shawn were prompt and efficient in completing the task within an hour, and were courteous, considerate polite, friendly and easy to talk to. The job was completed very quickly and the new water heater is working great. Excellent experience. I would definitely recommend Citywide Plumbing and Bryan and Shawn to anyone looking for plumbing/heating services.

Contacted Citywide to disconnect my gas range and reconnect a new one the next day. They answered my call, gave me a quote and scheduled the appointments flawlessly.
Ryan came and disconnected my range and assessed a safety issue that would add to his work the next day. He laid out all of my options and identified the one that would be most cost effective and least invasive to my home.
The next day he was on time, polite, fast and explained everything to me so I understood what he was doing/had done.
In an environment where trades either don't return your call or they are unreliable, Citywide was excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Brian installed a hot water heater for my family. He was on time, worked hard, and hustled to get the job done professionally. He gave me information regarding my water pressure for my house when he was done. Give this man a raise! Would highly recommend.

Shawn’s team was friendly, courteous and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had our AC and furnace system installed for us, so we could be nice and cool for the heat wave. I would recommend them to everyone for the price and customer service. I won’t go to anyone else for our maintenance and repairs. City Wide Plumbing is #1!

I bought a hotwater heater from Citywide in 2005 and replaced it with another one from them in 2017 (nothing wrong with it but required under our townhouse bylaws). Faultless and courteous service both times. The new one required a service call in 2020 - they came 'next day' - during COVID, Undetermined problem with wiring at inlet which they repaired - no charge. :) Very courteous and I can, without any hesitation, recommend this company with full 5 (or 10+) stars. I'll be buying from them again when I need another one. Full Marks and many thanks for great service. CAL

They replaced a hot water tank that had died, and they did a great job. I called them back because of a small drip, and they were prompt and fixed it right away (it was a manufacture’s defect, not an installation problem). I would use them again.
