I chose Riteway for my move from Caledon to Edmonton, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Sam and his team were incredibly nice and courteous throughout the entire process. They were very accommodating, promptly addressing any questions I had regarding my move. I had several exercise machines that needed to be moved and they handled them with great care. They covered everything in blankets before securely packing them. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other movers I reached out to. Everything arrived safely and without any damage, which is a rare feat when moving! I highly recommend Riteway to anyone planning a long-distance move.

I used Riteway when I moved from Calgary to Toronto. Sam and his team were so nice and courteous, his team was so accommodating when I had any requests and questions regarding my move. I had a Grand Piano that was brand new that I had to move and the team covered everything in blankets and cardboard, then proceeded to crate it in a wooden box. The price was very fair compared to other movers in my area as well. Everything was accounted for and I didn’t have any damage, which is rare when moving!!! I would highly recommend anyone considering moving to call riteway for their next long distance move

I used these guys for a move from Toronto to calgary. Everything went well. Would definitely recommend their services.

We have hired Riteway three times now. They are friendly, professional and careful. Their prices are reasonable. The first two moves had no problems whatsoever. This last time, we noticed a knob from our antique radio had fallen off in the move. It was not worth much, but would be extremely hard to replace, and had great sentimental value. Sam had his guys shake out all their blankets to find it, then sent it to us expresspost! Great service!

We can’t say enough about the moving crew we had today. We move from a house we’ve spent the last 30 years in so needless to say we had a lot of stuff. The crew was amazing. They showed up on time and work hard the whole time they were here. They were professional and friendly and made sure that mats were down and blankets were used. They took extra care to make sure they didn’t ding the walls. They took the time to ask were we want d the furniture placed and disassembled and reassembled piece as required. We definitely got our money’s worth and would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking to move. Thanks so much. You made a stressful time a lot easier.

We hired this company for a move. They helped us pack and then move our items. They were great to work with, very efficient and the items I was worried would break in the process of the move were perfectly packed and were undamaged.

Fantastic service from Sam and Sunder, who have moved me from Ottawa to Victoria. They are clean, professional, fast, honest, and detailed. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. (Just seeing this review again now. After the fact, I discovered some broken and poorly packed items, so I have removed a star.)

Very disappointed. I used this company almost 8 years ago when I moved from Alberta to B.C. and I was so impressed with the efficiency and care that was taken. I didn't think twice to choose them for my most recent move to Saskatchewan and I couldn't have been more disappointed. The cost was way over priced and the quality of the service was terrible. When we did a virtual walk-through beforehand I had been told that a box would be sent for the television, that certain pieces of equipment that could not be taken apart or they would lose warranty could be left intact, etc. Then they subcontracted it out H.K. movers and apparently these details did not get passed along.

There was no box for the television, the man took a power drill to some very expensive equipment and nearly damaged it when he tried to pry off a piece that was not supposed to come off, because he did not know what he was doing, but felt that just experimenting would be fine. I had a family member ask him to stop and he was ignored so I had to run up to find out what was happening. After I asked him to stop, he did call someone to find out exactly how to work with this equipment (never mind leaving it in-tact as had been previously agreed upon). The truck already had 2 other loads in it, including a vehicle and so they were trying to cram my items in where they could and constantly asked me if I was taking one item or another.....I was moving, and I hired them to move - of course I was taking the items. I feel sorry for the owner of the car as they were trying to move my mattresses to buffer it from the rest of the load.

Then after taking more than 8 hours to creatively pack things in every nook and cranny they could find, they told me that they could not hold on to the items past a few days. I explained that I had explicitly set a timeframe for when I would be able to have the items delivered and that was part of the contract. They continued to ask me to make arrangements to have things delivered to storage when I wouldn't be there. They said they would wait for my text the next day. I then spent over an hour working with some very accomodating people at the storage facility who were ready to help, only to find out (when I texted them) that they would get back to me in a few days and let me know when the delivery would be there (i.e., back into the orginal timeframe).

When the items arrived and there was a possibility they may have to get a shuttle, they wanted me to call, book and bring a U-haul for them to use. I had to explain to them that no, I would not be getting a u-haul, it was their responsibility to bring a shuttle, if needed (as per the contract), and someone must have stepped in because they stopped pushing for this later.

And lastly, the items themselves. Some were carefully handled, but some had clearly fallen apart - I had sealed boxes that had opened with bits of scotch tape trying to hold them closed. My electric fireplace is upside down in the storage - I can only hope it hasn't fallen apart as he had been drilling into that outside when wrapping it (not sure why). I'm praying my television is in one piece.....I've just never seen anything like it.

In my first move, every item had been numbered and accounted for - nothing of the sort in this move. And given the fact that it was being carted around with multiple other loads, I'm just hoping that everything is actually there....

Very, very, very disappointed.
