Went to see the Bob Ross exhibit. Admission by donation. Face mask required. Becareful of long line up on a sunny day. We waited 60 mins. Totally worth the effort to go see it. The staff is very friendly and they sell face masks there too if you don't have one. The gift stores have plenty of unique items too.

We ventured here for the BOB ROSS exhibit. The famous painter had his work displayed here for the first time ever at a gallery. We waited in line for about 30 minutes, on clearly marked social distancing marks. The staff member at the front door was so friendly and professional. We loved the exhibit and the gallery.

Community oriented and friendly as can be, this gallery has great exhibits all year long. They depend on volunteers and donors so make sure to check it out and get involved if you've any extra time and want to see what a little corner of our arts community has to offer

Excellent Art Gallery and especially now with the Bob Ross exhibit. Original Bob paintings with wonderful quotes from him relating to each one, "happy trees and friendly rocks" and all. Lovely gift shop with great selection of items. Do your Christmas shopping!! 😊

Always an amazing experience, top notch exhibits and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small city gallery with a big city heart the quality of works you will see here are top notch and reflective of a wide array of cultural significance. If you are a visitor to Penticton it is well worth checking out the gallery and the grounds with its ornamental garden and pond.

Worth going even with a long lineup outside and social distancing. Bob Ross exhibit was incredible, and was a bucket list item for sure. Was delighted by the other exhibits. Staff was fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful.
What a great date day, would be great for a first date.

Small but really cool art gallery. Saw the Bob Ross exhibit. Price of admission by donation, $5 gets you a cool beans Bob Ross button. Lots of amazing Bob Ross originals, 30 I believe. Exhibit ends in sept 2020, don't miss it! Parking is tiny, and busy, gallery only fits 15 visitors at a time, mask required inside ( if you don't have one they'll sell you one for $2).

What a lovely gallery! The highlight for myself was the Buffy Sainte Marie exhibit that was featured. Was there on opening day and they even had a zoom discussion with Buffy that we got to participate in!!! A new mural was being finished off as we arrived. Beside the gallery is a beautiful Japanese Garden! What a delightful hidden gem. How lucky the people of Penticton are!

This is one of the best galleries I've been to. The scope can't compare to the big galleries but I find that Pentiction presents shows that have a higher level of social commentary and thought provoking. We always stop on our way through.

Last day of Bob Ross exhibit. It's 10 minutes to opening and there is a 2 hour lineup around the building. Half an hour before closing last night, there were 30 people still lined up to get in. Get here soon, if you want to get in!

On the south shore of Okanagan Lake, this small gallery has taken on a big challenge... This month, they have mounted an exhibition by artists from Afghanistan. "The Kabul Art Project: Contemporary Art From Afghanistan". I do not know whether this exhibition will be seen anywhere else in North America, but it is here, now, and should be seen.

The entire gallery has been devoted to works in ink, paint and watercolour that try to capture the complex relationships that govern those who are trying to live out their lives in a perpetual war zone.

Admission to the Gallery is posted at $2.00 per person, but it is not enforced. The delightful attendant asked us if we could make a donation (which we did) and there was no requirement that anything be paid. In any case, it is posted as free on weekends!

There is plenty of free parking on site, and it is readily accessible from downtown Penticton. There is an interesting (quirky) gift shop.

The exhibition we saw will be gone in mid-September, but we're confident that this gallery will mount something else that is special in the days to come.

The current show is excellent, very thought provoking. Looking forward to the "Under $500" exhibit; we own 2 pieces from previous years.
