The Bench Market

A busy and popular place for weekend brunch. The Bench Market is a cafeteria style place where you order and pay at the counter then they bring the food to your table. The staff are all efficient and smiley to make this experience pleasant. The food quality is tasty.

Sausage and Eggs is only available on weekends and is amazing. Loved the slow cooked beans with caramelized onion that has, I think, pulled pork in it. The Bench Breakfast and Breakfast Burrito was stellar too. Can't go wrong. The turmeric latte and mocha was great. They have soy milk. Nice vibe with lots of outdoorsy people coming in. Takeaway sandwiches looked great if you want to bring on hike too.

Such a cute shop! Delicious food with ample portions. A little more spendy than we had expected but worth it for the quality and quantity of tasty food. We split the artichoke hearts and giant pickle with our sandwiches and were super pleased.

Not only was the food delicious. But the ambiance is cool and hip. The greeter. Was probably the best part about the place. Kept everything in order and insured we knew how to order and the process of getting the food.

I had the brunch special. Sausages beans and eggs. It was really delicious the place was clean. The washrooms are spotless. And it was a great day to sit outside with plenty of bike storage.

Well. I came here for a change of the plain breakfast & this food was absolutely 💯 amazing. The sausage and eggs brunch had the best sausage and baked beans. Never had beans like that before.
I have traveled all over Canada for work and love my breakfasts. My hats off to the Ladies here.

Excellent spot for sandwiches and breakfast!

Their muffins and sandwiches are top notch. Reasonable prices for the portions. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

The food is great!!! The employees are so friendly and I received my food after a few moments already. Definitely the best place in Penticton to get the best breakfast 😁.

cute place to have breakfast! I love their Benny’s here same with the eggwiches. Although I have to say I am not very fond of their coffee but everything else is great!

This place is fantastic. The host (which might be the owner) greets every party and controls the flow of people so you never feel like you're waiting. Even at the busiest if times. All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They were highly focused on ensuring proper social distancing and in a very effective way that also made it feel like the bistro was serving your party alone. Food and drinks come out fresh and fast. But nothing feels rushed. We've had their sandwiches to go and this time dined in for breakfast. Have amazing food choices such as bowls and paninis and burritos. When visiting Penticton. This is a must stop.

Food was excellent with great flavor! My group of 8 ordered a breakfast burrito, 3 Benny's, 2 waffles, slice of banana bread, a gluten free sandwich, 2 lavender teas, and lemonades.

Cheerful, organized staff. Great food. Clean. Right from the get-go the boss was friendly and interacted with guests, making us feel very welcome. Even with a large volume of people the line kept moving and the food was prepared in a timely fashion. Great seating indoors and out. A must visit!

My wife and ai are in from out of town. They have some great, quick amd tasty meals with a kitchen and lots of selections as well as coffee and tea options. Strong recommendation for good quality and tasty food.

This place is a must! We were sooo happy to have stopped at this place. The food is sooo good and the quality of the ingredients were amazing.

We ordered the avocado toast - omg! The sundried tomatoe spread makes all the difference and with the free range eggs. The flavours were explosive. Loveee it!

Such a great little place with a variety of food. We went to have breakfast and the plates were big enough that my husband was full! And the coffee was superb. I would definitely go there again

Visiting from out of town and it was a great experience. The coffee is absolutely delicious! The host was very kind and efficient, making sure that everyone is taken care of. The food isn’t cheap but the portions are good and the ingredients were high quality. Would definitely go back!

I absolutely love going to The Bench Market. I may always spend more than I'd like, but I always have the most fabulous time. Everything is artisan, top notch. 💓

We were back in Penticton for a couple of days and decided to visit our favorite breakfast place. It was still as good as ever.

Great food and staff! The breakfast was amazing; super tasty beans. The shop itself is so cute! We also got the chicken and Sicilian paninis which are so tasty and huge! It’s definitely worth stopping by.
