Supermercado Zona Sul - (Copacabana / Nossa Sra. de Copacabana)

Fresh products, affordable prices 5 minutes walk from Copacabana Beach.

Great selection of pretty much everything from fruits, and veggies to cheese, deli, and meat. They have their own bakery with nice bread and desserts, their own butcher, good selection of drinks and toiletries. The only thing I would say is that I found it a bit expensive ( some prices are London prices)

I use this supermarket in Rio regularly. It is fantastic for fresh fruit and vegetables. The supermarket has everything you find in the UK supermarket. Also the prices are very reasonable.

Right in the heart of Copacabana it's not as expensive as the other supermarkets and they have a much bigger selection of fresh fruit, they even have an organic fruit and vegetables section which most supermarkets do not, clean store, friendly staff, they do speak a little English and they are open late.

I always found out towards the end of my trip that "Zona Sul" is Portuguese for "South Zone."

In the context of Rio de Janeiro, "Zona Sul" refers to the southern part of the city, which is known for its beautiful beaches, upscale neighbourhoods, and iconic landmarks like Copacabana and Ipanema.

Great place with good prices. It can get crowded sometime.

Very good produce and vegetables. Nice bakery, I like the cafeteria they have on the secund floor. Prices are very reasonable

Very good supermarket with excellent selection and a great deli. Got mortadella at a terrific price. Beers from good local to various imports available. Produce was excellent. Overall a great place to shop and was open 24 hours.

This is a fully stocked, fresh and clean market that's my go-to when I'm in my Rio neighborhood. When I visit I'm never disappointed.

Good location inside the shopping centre. Not huge but a reasonable selection of meats fish vegetables and general groceries at reasonable prices. They will validate your parking ticket also

Excelent! Open 24 hrs and the quality of products is great compared to other options, no that big but diverse products, you ask anyone and they will go with you to find what you are looking for

Visiting this supermarket is always a good experience...veggies and fruits are fresh. The assortment of goods is excellent and their bakery produce is delicious. I particularly love the "pizza seca" (flatbread).

They have very good brands, clean and good service! Although the prices are a bit higher then other grocery stores.

A very convenient grocery store that was close to where I was staying (Royalty Rio). I would go here to stock up on water and any other supplies. The Focaccia bread is delicious, try it! They also have self checkout counters.
