Quinta da Boa Vista

Free entrance and I was during a carnaval. Great prices on food, coconut water (7 reals), and other snacks. Great for kids. There is free public washrooms but they need to add more especially during events. Lovely scenery and I did not feel uncomfortable as a tourist. Some police officers.

Huge park. Former grounds of the Imperial Palace. There are plenty to do and see. You can enjoy the lake, walk or jog, bike and have picnics.

PLACE OF UNIQUE BEAUTY,,WIDE AND VAST FOREST AND LAKES. IDEAL FOR A NICE PIKE.
WITH BIKES YOU RENT FOR A GREAT RIDE.
ZO IN GOOD CONDITION,SEVERAL KIOSKS FOR A GOOD MEAL. ALSO HAS A CIRCUS INSIDE THE PARK.

Very nice place to run or just to walk around and be in contact with nature. This is my every day place!!

A very calm, comfortable place to hang out or even to be with boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife and make a picnic, take lots of photos, and so on. It combines history, fancy with nature - good for relaxing. Police is everywhere, so it's safe.

I loved how the tropical birds had tons of space to fly!! My niece loves the Capivara, the orangutans came out near 5pm.

Awesome place to spend some time outdoors. There are great spaces for picnic, running aroung, riding bikes and skating, and whatever else you wish to do. There are some groups of "real life RPG" (or LARP for the initiated) and Pokémon Go enthusiasts who meet regularly, so if you are into these activities this park is definitely a must.
The only thing you should be aware of is the time: avoid leaving after 4PM, because it is when this area of the city starts to become dangerous. Enjoy the area during daytime only, preferably with someone by your side.

It's always wonderful get together with friends in Quinta da Boa Vista for a good chat in person after months of online talks. That open green place is the perfect spot for a pick nick, walking your pet, play volleyball or just simply laid-back on the grass and ready a book. I strongly suggest Sunday morning in Quinta, you won't regret.

Awesome place to have picnics and hangout with friends and have a bicycle trip You can buy toys visit Brazilian Statues and so on!

Excellent place with long stretches of green areas , ponds and gardens. Good for a picnic far from the hustle and bustle from touristier spots like Copa.

I've been here many times and it's a very beautiful place to be with family for a relaxing day and a picnic. It Remembers me of my childhood
