I tried the bobo de camarão and it was amazing! I asked for a bit of limão since it's even more tasty like that and the guy that was serving me brought it in a minute. Very good service, amazing flavors and such a colorful place

P.s. I was really hungry but couldn't finish it. It's very tastful and filling!

Probably the best meal we had in Rio, clearly labelled vegan options which they make a real effort with and the food was authentic and delicious. Great to find somewhere that does vegan and vegetarian versions of classic local meat dishes. They do also still sell the meat versions too so it’s perfect for everyone.

Perfect little café for your time off the tramway up the Santa Teresa hill. They serve water and boiled peanuts right away. We took juice (made of local fruits) , coffee and desserts. The service was prompt and nice. The whole experience was 100% worth it.

Best food I’ve ever tried since coming to brazil, I got their brunch. Everything was good from service to food, the place is also nice.

What an amazing place! The food is great, and large portion sizes too. I was here Saturday morning for a bite but had to wait, the host brought out a chair and water for me to wait.

It is the 1st restaurant we did arriving in Rio and it was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed Brazilian food and the service was top !

Set deep in Santa Theresa neighborhood, you can get a great meal for a reasonable price. They offer boiled peanuts as an appetizer (being from North Carolina in the US, I know boiled peanuts and these were a nice reminder of vacations to the coast). We also had a two person dish which had plenty of food to satisfy two American sized appetites. It is really hard to get to by navigating google maps, just get an Uber then walk down to Parque das Ruinas for a bohemian art show and views of the city

Great food and friendly staff. Located in the beautiful Santa Teresa neighborhood. It can be a bit of an uphill hike if you're coming from the metro. Next time I'd probably take a taxi up the hill and walk back down.

Absolutely fantastic place. Great attentive owner. The food was just delicious. Made sure our little one got a tin cup with some popcorn first so we could quietly select our dishes. Gave us some tips of places to visit afterwards. Loved the place.
Very nicely decorated too. You get some filtered water with your food.

Truly enjoyed the live music, friendly customer service, and desert

We went back four times and had breakfasts and dinners. The staff offer excellent customer service, the food is fresh and delicious. Also very excited by their vegetarian options, including vegetarian feijoada! Our favourite place here.

Heart-warming staff team and very attentive, great brunch choice to sample local brazilian food without stuffing your stomach as all plates are tapas size and you can re-order the ones you like!

Excellent representation of food from Brazil's Northeastern Region - arguably the country's best cuisine.
The area around is not for a lingering visit - you'll get there by Uber and then come back, maybe catch some street music before. But the food is absolutely delicious! Well worth the visit. Service is also great and they are used to welcoming foreigners. Prices are quite reasonable - a main course costs about 12 dollars. We had the two plates that the (lovely) waitress recommended: the "Rubacao" (rice, beans, cheese, meat, pink pepper) and the "Xinxim de Galinha" (rice, chicken on a ginger sauce, cashew nuts, shrimp and coconut oil). They were both huge, mouthwatering and we left completely full.
The place is also known for its traditional breakfast - often voted the best in Rio.
You won't find this type of food outside Brazil - and rarely outside the Northeast states.
