NORTH LAKES - Sunshine Mitre 10

Mitre 10 is truly fighting the good fight against the large chain, Bunnings.

It's a great store with friendly service. I hate comparing it to Bunnings, but you know the feeling when you go to Bunnings, and you can never find anyone to help you. Not at Mitre 10! Their friendly staff come to you and ask if you need assistance. I must admit, my mouth was left agape. I had forgotten what good customer service is like until I visited Mitre 10. Keep up the excellent work, guys! Five stars!

Bought some paint a couple days ago and brought it back today to get it tinted abit darker to more of a purplish navy blue. The guy who served me both days went absolutely above and beyond for me and I'm super grateful, the service here is faultless. The colour turned out perfect in the end with a little bit more red tint. Extremely happy with my experience there.

I’d like to give a big thanks to Joe McDougall in the trade section. I’m a 70 yr old female renovating a house and the service and assistance Joe offered me was exceptional. Pleasant, courteous and ever helpful. Thanks Joe- much more pleasant dealing with you than the bigger competition at Rothwell.

I went in yesterday to mitre 10 north lakes my husband and I have just purchased our new property and we will be doing some renovations. The help that I received yesterday was amazing the young man's name was Joe .I asked a lot of questions and about different projects and materials I would need. Nothing was a problem you got the information , prices and a smile at the end .

Yesterday my wife and I visited the store and was greeted by a Team of Wonderful Staff. They were all very motivated and willing to help us in our shopping. What we enjoyed was that they were all smiling and joking with us as we finalised our purchase. It’s not very often that you experience this type of welcoming with staff. To the owner and Management staff, we would like to say thanks for making our first visit to the store enjoyable. You have a great work ethic and your staff have very good people skills. called in last night to see their range of whipper snippers and the customer service i had was awesome the young guy took his time telling me about the pros & cons of the range and answered all of my stupid questions. nice job fella !

First time visit - mainly because the BIG Green Hardware chain didn't have what I wanted and Mitre10 - this store - did. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. Greeted as I arrived in a very pleasant manner. As the saying goes Mitre 10 outa 10. I'll be back.

Great experience throughout the store. Rob in the paint section was very helpful and precise in making sure my paint was the correct shade and giving good advise. He made lovely warm conversation too.
The customer service was excellent across the timber section and the team at the front desk. We will be returning when we need more items for the house improvements.

I have been to Mitre 10 in North Lakes a number of times now and have been extremely impressed with the customer service, in particular the young members of staff. People are very quick to complain about bad service, but often forget to praise great customer service. I like the fact it is a small store and customer service is obvious at the forefront! Well done Mitre 10, you have a loyal customer in me. Please pass on my gratitude to your young people in the store, they are polite, friendly, helpful with out being overbearing. Great job!

Friendly staff with great service. Small garden centre, it could be a little bigger, the selection was good & I enjoyed a discount weekend so got more plants than I planned which was a nice surprise. If you want personal service this is the place to go, service was 100% better than Bunnings!

When I went to this store a week ago which was my first time to go there, a guy from the painting department helped me. He was really helpful. Also I went today to get my order, workers are so friendly and helpful. I don't get stress to park etc. Building materials area workers were helpful and good too🙂

My first visit to this store…. Adam in trade was exceptional…..Adam on our arrival was operating a forklift, he saw us waiting whilst another staff member was busy on a phone call, Adam immediately parked the forklift and approached us to offer assistance, and the advice and help he gave was above and beyond. Adam’s service has made us decide all our future projects will be taken to Sunshine Mitre 10 North Lakes….. definitely worth a little extra travelling. Thanks Mark and Sue

What can I say awesome team little issue with a online order but the team there came through.

Bought a mower the team were happy to grab my oil and even carried and loaded the mower into the car.

Beautiful big air con store I tell you what you don't get that kind of service at bunnings usually need to chase down someone to help and then they usually just tell you the aisle the item is in then dissapear like a ship in the night.

Super happy with my purchase and the service I received so thank you mitre 10 North Lakes the Saturday team that assisted me rocks.

I went into mitre 10 as I was having trouble opening the spool of a whipper snipper, Rob one of the employees was an absolute legend!
He worked out how to open it, then showed me how to do it. He was full of knowledge, never made me feel silly or made me feel rushed or that his time was more important than helping me.
I am so grateful for the level of customer service that was provided to me!
He is a great asset to your company!

Very helpful and staff were amazing to help where items were in the building and was given good advice. This is something you dont get at bunnings so Mitre 10 North Lakes is the place i go to.

Nice fresh new store. Just opened up recently. All the usual DIY bits n pieces, tools, mowers, pressure washers shop vacs etc. Also kitchens, bathrooms, garden centre timber yard etc etc. Get in and have a look for yourself as i have probably missed so much here. Quieter and easier to park than bunnings, so all they need is a sausage sizzle and they'll be gold. Get in there an give em a go 👍
