Kallangur Tavern

We ate here a couple of weekends ago for the first time and will definitely be back.
The parking was easy. Getting a table simple. The menu was great with some classics and some great alternative modern choices, this was very refreshing.
All three of our meals were great. The salad for 2 of the meals were a bit lacking, really just mixed lettuce leaves but that was the only complaint about the food. I can definitely recommend the roast veggies which I had, these were a great option for $2 more, which will definitely bring me back. My steak was cooked well and the mash was lovely too, the fish and the burger my fellow diners had were enjoyed.
The service was a bit lacking (we left before the plates were cleared, a long time after we finished eating) but we enjoyed ordering from the app both our food and drinks and thanks to the food, we can forgive that.

Living almost a decade in Kallangur finally made it to Kallangur Tavern 😍 Can say food is fairly cheap and very tasty. 5star for beef steak that actually had spices on it not just salt pepper. Garlic prawns(5) are to die for. Can truly recommend them

Meals where great price & good size. Service was friendly & great place to take the kids with there indoor & out door play area.

Food was nice hot wen served & very Delicious well presented & service was awesome

Fish tacos on point, fresh and very tasty. The star for me was the King Avocado. Chicken schnitzel was cooked perfectly and topped with sliced avocado(not mashed), bacon and cheese, accompanied with a nicely dressed fresh side salad.
Definitely recommend 👌

Just had a Pub Club - delicious!
Can’t eat a whole one these days so asked for a second plate so we could share it. The very considerate chef split it across two plates and presented it like two meals.
Thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality.

One of the better places around, especially by price-point. I've never had a bad steak from here, after many visits

If I could, I would give 10 stars! Best dining experience in a very long time. It was very welcoming. Staff were exceptionally friendly and great at their job. The meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, and decently priced. There is a playground for little children and a little arcade for the older kids. If we are ever in Kallangur again, we will definitely be stopping in for a bite to eat. Thank you, Kallangur Tavern, for your hospitality. Keep up the awesome work.

Great meals... love the Seniors Specials.... food is yummy and prices good. Our group of 20+ had a lovely time there.

I've just moved into the neighbourhood and this place has become my go to for a quick dinner. Super friendly staff, food hasn't disappointed, prompt and courteous service.

We hired the function room for a special birthday occasions and Sarah took care of everything and delivered as she said. Very happy as nothing could have gone better. Thanks Sarah

Always have a good time there. Food is great and decent prices for grog. Staff are very friendly especially Blake who just doesn't stop. Machine.

Got served by a nice young lady on Sunday afternoon, she was awesome and so lovely! The rump steak could of been a bit bigger and the prawn topper cheaper but overall good food

Great atmosphere. Truly warm professional service. Fair prices with excellent food. Visiting from SA, dined here 2 nights out of 3..... including a family dinner with 16 of us. Great facilities for the young kids as well. Thankyou to your whole team.

We stayed at the motel yesterday so walked over for lunch. Sue, served us and was so helpful. We returned for dinner and Sue was still working. Again, she went above and beyond and at one point returning my forgotten jacket. We travel all over Australia and we do notice when we get great service. Sue is an absolute credit to the Kallangur Tavern.

The service was great the meatlovers pizza was dry and the meat pieces on it where very hard. Besides that others at table enjoyed their meals.

Had a lovely lunch...

We had Christmas lunch there again today, the food was plentiful and also yummy. The staff were great and very helpful and friendly and great to talk to. Merry Christmas to all the staff who worked extremely hard and on the go the whole time we will be back for a meal or two also Xmas lunch next year. Thank you for making our Christmas Day enjoyable 🎅🧑‍🎄🤶
