Vinnies

I love this little Vinnies, but do keep in mind that the prices here, like most Vinnies these days, are very high.

I'm still giving it five stars because I enjoyed looking around with my family, found some very interesting things, and my mum bought a pair of lovely designer shoes. The staff were also nice.

I'd say this Vinnies has a lot of clothes, shoes, and bags. There are not really many sewing patterns, because I always look out for those, and the homeware sections has some interesting bits but is not the largest. There is also a small selection of books, too. It is definitely a clothing focused shop.

There is parking out the back, although at busy times it might be better to park on the street because it is a small carpark (around six cars max from memory, but if you need to open your doors wide to donate larger items, it can be a tight fit.)

Wow such an amazing store, the best Vinnies I’ve ever come across! I donate here regularly and always leave with some great finds. More high end than other Vinnies, but you’ll find amazing designer brands here you won’t find anywhere else at appropriate prices. Lovely staff and volunteers too who look like they have a lot on their plate, it’s always bustling at all times of day. They deserve some recognition, keep up the good work

Cannon Hill Vinnies would have to be the absolute best, if not outstanding OP Shop in Brisbane! Any time, morning or afternoon, stock changes so quickly; you'll have to be quicker than a March Hare to not miss out on the most outstanding finds. Not to mention, all sale profits go to an amazing charity, servicing the people of Brisbane and Queensland. I highly suggest popping in and saying 'Hi' to the fabulous Manager, Gabby. She certainly knows a thing or two about retailing and finding that bespoke item you've been searching for. Well done to Gabby and her fabulous team of volunteers!

Just thought I'd jump on here and say I stopped going here around two years ago, then was told it was under new management. So I went back and to my surprise Gabby the new Manager is an absolute STAR. Keep up the great work. PS I have NEVER seen staff fighting with each other, since I've gone back.

Had a thought, lived above the old music store just 100 metres away, so use to spend heaps there. But stopped because of old manager. Gabby keep it up.

I can’t wait to go back to St Vinnies at Cannon Hill. It was fascinating and the goods were SO BEAUTIFULLY DISPLAYED and so clean! I found myself a couple of treasures and I was well looked after! The girl in charge was going out of her way to be helpful. Little wonder it is a popular shop!!

After reading the targeted criticism directed towards our manager we would like to strongly refute the suggestion that we are "unhappy volunteers". On the contrary we genuinely enjoy working at Vinnies Cannon Hill.
This is constantly recognized by many regular customers, commenting to us how they love the atmosphere in our store "as the staff are friendly, happy and always having so much fun".
Given the enormous responsibility of successfully running two stores (taken very seriously by our committed manager) , one has to wonder if we wouldn't all "lose our cool" with that one particular given situation, of which we are all aware.
So please accept this rebuttal as a sincere and honest statement from us, the dedicated volunteers at Vinnies Cannon Hill.

A little more expensive than your usual Vinnie's but great quality. Good spacious layout of selection. Furniture and toys are in a separate room out the back near the car park.

The best Vinnies in Queensland. Well presented, fantastic stock, bargain prices and the manager Gabrielle is a star.

I found some great things here including a bec + bridge playsuit. staff are helpful and good range of stuff.

Great little shop with lots of great brand clothing. Also some nice homewares.
