Daintree Fan Palm Farm

Perfect for a snack and a chat. We met the beautiful family that runs this shop and the lovely peacocks and turkeys. We the paid a small fee to go for a beautiful boardwalk, it is well worth it. The giant fan palms all in one spot make for incredible scenery and amazing pictures. I highly recommend stopping and going for a walk.

WOW! Was the first word out of my mouth when arriving to this wonderful farm. Organic fruits that will increase your longevity 10 fold. Cute farm animals that will have you relaxed within seconds. And wonderful owners who care for the produce they sell and the customers they serve. Definitely a must visit when travelling to Cape Tribulation from Port Douglas.

Best coffee in Daintree. Has a bunch of organic & healthier snacks inside the store, stuff you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

The gallery of palms boardwalk on the property is great - short, but worth a visit. We saw a cassowary too, which was awesome.

A beautiful Cafe, family run business, stop for a coffee with a view of some of the rarest and most spectacular forest in the world - lowland fan-palm forest, spectacular and magical it is a must see. Peter and Gina are the perfect hosts and there is also a beautiful organic whole foods shop with all your needs. For the kids there are farm animals galore, Peacocks, chickens, turkeys goats, the kiddies will love it!

Peter and Gina were so welcoming and passionate about coffee and whole foods. We stayed in the area for 3 days and went there everyday for coffee and snacks for the day. They open at 7am which is perfect for us early morning real coffee lovers, and to top it off they had free range animals including baby chicks, ducklings and a pig called Charlotte which our son absolutely adored. We would highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing by.

Do you ever been to a family owned place where the customer service is awesome because it’s their company and they don’t work for anyone else? It’s like this here, service so good that you almost can’t believe it!!! We were wondering about the jackfruits in the garden and the husband showed us everything for like 45 minutes, made us taste all the exotic fruits like star apples, which almost don’t grow anywhere around the world and explained everything. Also, they have got several trees that are extinct but still grow on their board walk and they had to renew the whole place themselves because they didn’t get any government funds… so go support them, it’s awesome nature and even better customer service!!!

Amazing little organic food store, they have great vaierity of health foods and organic produce, even fresh organic local fruit and veggies! They also have delicious gluten free pies and salad bowls ready to eat. Store owners are lovely family, they are very beautiful souls, helpful and outgoing. If you love healthy food or just want to try something new, definitely visit their lovely shop 😊

Best coffee! Lively little shop with a great selection of organics and gluten-free options. Run by a very friendly family, definitely recommend stopping in.

Stopping by at Daintree Fan Palm Farm on the way back to Port Douglas was a great idea. The Thai Green Curry Pie was excellent, very authentic. The coffee was great as well. We bought a few new items in the shop (we were especially happy about the range of gluten-free items). It was nice being around the turkey, peacocks, chickens and the goat.

When visiting the Daintree, Fan Palm Farm is definitely somewhere you’ll want to stop. The kids loved playing with the farm animals while we could shop for some beautiful organic groceries and then sit back and enjoy a 10/10 coffee and some homemade coconut slice. Peter and Gina were so lovely and very welcoming. The Fan Palm walk was definitely worth it too. Can’t wait to come back!

Our visit to the Fan Palm cafe was a highlight of our day. We’ve been locals for many years and this place is a newly discovered gem. We’ll be back! Gina, Peter and their family are delightfully warm and welcoming hosts. The food was delicious and the animals, especially Willow, the cutest little piglet ever, charmed and entertained us as we enjoyed our lunch. We look forward to doing the walk on a return visit and checking up on Willow.

Hidden Gem in Daintree! Must visit. Worth every second. Wholesome produce, wonderful coffee and ice cream. Beautiful boardwalk and most of all, amazing owners ❤ Peter, Gina and kids were very welcoming. Their place is just absolutely awesome, healthy and whole heartedly crafted for anyone looking for snacks, coffee, aromatics etc.

I wasn't feeling well when I called in. I had a wholefoods bowl and a coffee. In a short time I felt great and happily went about my day. Nothing beats good nutrition Organic foods cost a bit more but the extra nourishment is well worth it. Recommended!

Lovely little organic paradise in a part of the world very few people get to go to. If you're ever up at the majestic wonderland of the Daintree Rainforest heading to Cape Tribulation, make sure you stop off here. Take a walk along the beautiful board walk, and grab yourself something organic for a snack or to take home. Wonderful service and cleanliness is what stands out here.

This place is a must stop along your way to Cape Trib. Even if just for a coffee, their fair trade organic beans made for the best brew we'd had on our 3 months on the road so far. Peter and Gina are so lovely and welcoming and their shop is well stocked with organic, vegan, and vegetarian goodies.

The stunning walk along the boardwalk through the fan palms is well worth the $10 entry just for the palms alone but especially for the chance to spot a cassowary or tree kangaroo! Spotted in Nov '23.

I just bought the most amazing honey, eggs, Davidson's plum yoghurt, cocoa, kefir mylk, biodynamic milk, icecream and the best homemade orange slice I've ever tried..

Wished we had found this earlier in our trip as the best coffee in Daintree! Made to perfection.. and I am picky with my coffee! Wished we had time to do the boardwalk but time didn't permit. If you want great coffee, this is the place to stop.
