Daintree Manor Bed & Breakfast

We had a fantastic stay with Robbie and Charmaine at the Daintree Manor B&B. This is a place to relax and feel good.

The property is a really nice and clean and a nature-lover’s paradise, with the 360 balcony providing lots of opportunity for birdwatching day and night (big bats).

Relax on the balcony with a cold and enjoy the incredible view over the world’s oldest rainforest and the far mountain range.

The room itself was nicely styled with a comfortable bed and everything else you might need.

The breakfast!!! Robbie and Charmaine made a delicious breakfast of mushroom and bacon omelette, excellent coffee and/or the. We loved it.

The manor is located just close to the ferry and like that you are in the begging of the Forrest. To see the beaches, to enjoy the walks and swim in the swimming holes you need to drive a bit. It’s around one hour to the end of the road (from where you need a really good car after to continue). But with the car you’re good to visit everything you might want to see. Plan at least three days because it’s so much to see, just ask Robbie

We highly recommend making a stop here at this excellent b&b because it’s really worth the money.

We had a fantastic stay with Robbie and Charmaine at the Daintree Manor B&B. This was by far our favourite stay on our 10 day trip to far north Queensland.

Aside from the stunning property, Robbie provided us with some great local knowledge with recommendations for places to stop by on our way through the Daintree.

The property itself is a nature-lover’s paradise, with the 360 balcony providing ample opportunity for birdwatching, walks or simply just relaxing and enjoying the incredible view over the world’s oldest rainforest and the far mountain range.

The room itself was nicely styled with a comfortable bed and everything else you might need.

The following morning, Robbie and Charmaine put on a delicious breakfast of mushroom and bacon frittata, buttered potato and a fresh salad.

We wish we could have stayed much longer, and highly recommend making a stop here at this excellent b&b. Thanks Robbie and Charmaine (and Mr Socks and Angus for the love!)

Daintree Manor Bed & Breakfast sits on top of a hill with broad and epic views of the Daintree River valley and surrounding forest. The property itself is utterly charming and comfortable. Rob and Charmaine go above and beyond to ensure you get the most from your stay, both at the B&B and from your Daintree adventure. The Daintree is now firmly my favourite place in Australia – the forest speaks to you in a thousand different voices, the beaches are a wild paradise, the fauna almost prehistoric, and the level of community spirit is rare and refreshing. It is truly one of the last wild, ancient, unspoilt, and awe-inspiring rainforests on the planet.

This place is absolutely beautiful!!! Heaps of fruit trees, beautiful view, relaxing and very quiet. Rooms are super clean and very tasteful furnished. You can tell, they put a lot of love into this place.
Rob and Charmaine are the most amazing hosts I ever met! Very friendly, happy to help and they have amazing stories to tell.
The food is better than in some restaurants. Delicious and beautiful presented!

We had an absolutely brilliant time staying at Daintree Manor BnB. It was the best place to base ourselves whilst we explored the region.

Robbie & Charms are excellent hosts. They are so informative about the local area and they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable.

The place has an incredibly homely feel to it, and its views of the Daintree are magical.

A unique accommodation experience. Very helpful and passionate hosts. Amazing views and central location in the heart of the Daintree. Amazing breakfast. Great rooms and living areas.

Rob and Charmaine are such amazing hosts, it felt like we were staying with family. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The home is in a beautiful location surrounded by rainforest and is very well looked after. The gardens around the house is full of different kinds of fruiting trees! The food is restaurant quality and a great way to start and end our days. Thank you for the great stay!

Daintree Manor B&B should be called Paradise! Beautiful rooms, super comfy bed and pillows set amongst the tropical rainforest! Incredible views of the Daintree River, expect to see and experience the gorgeous native flora and fauna. We were lucky to see many Ulysses whilst enjoying a delicious breaky! Charmaine and Robbie are so warm and friendly with excellent local knowledge of all the must see spots in the Daintree. We didn’t want to leave!

Robbie & Charmaine are amazing people I strongly recommend the Daintree Manor to all visiting up north, it’s home away from home. The house is clean and beautiful, the gardens and the views are breathtaking. The breakfast is fresh and absolutely delicious! I won’t stay anywhere else when I visit the Daintree, this place is second to none. Also the history is quite amazing too, you’ll have to go visit to find out ;)

Friendly, lowkey and tranquil B&B off the grid and well located for the Daintree Forest and also the reef.
Great home cooked breakfast and a comfortable room in the welcoming home of Robbie and Charmaine. Dinner at the local eateries is done by 7pm, so bunker down with a book or a boardgame and enjoy the sound of the wildlife and potentially a cuddle with Milo the cat.

This is a fantastic destination when your are going into the daintree national park!

The owners are so great! The location is more than beautiful! The breakfast is very tasty and lot's of it comes directly from the owners garden.

We got very helpful tips and informations for tours and "must go to" points at daintree.

It was a pleasure to stay there and probably we come back in the future again!

The setting was amazing and the hosts were wonderful. We were on our 2nd leg of our honeymoon not too long ago and Charmaine & Rob just added so much value to our awesome experience. Luv these guys and their dogs :) great to chat to and also very informative and helpful! The views from the second floor in a midst of various flora and fauna were stunning! I loved my stay at Daintree Manor! I was in QLD for a couple of weeks and Charmaine and Robbie (and Dot) were so helpful with recommendations on things to do, places to go. They also made me feel right at home. I look forward to coming back again xx

Robbie and Charmaine were very accommodating for my partner and I. The place it self is very beautiful surrounded by nature. A feel at home experience with home cook meals prepared by Robb him self and dessert by Charmaine. Highly recommended place to stay whilst in daintree! Also the rooms were very clean and have nice views of the rain forest.

One doesn’t often review, unless it hits the mark! Low key, intimate, secluded and very beautiful. Robbie and Charmaine are true salt of the earth. They went out of their way in difficult times not just to treat us as guests but as part of their family. As we come from the bush we can be a little standoffish in a public setting this was like going home! Thank you.

Rob and Charmaine made our stay as a feeling of family being together. With the stay being so comfortable, it’s the people you meet on the way for a coffee and conversation make it all worth it. Lovely time spent and definitely look forward to going again. If you are looking for a little gem away from the city, do visit this place with stunning mountain view and beautiful surrounding.

The shared guest area was comfortable and the decks had amazing views across the valley and into the garden.

We stayed at Daintree Manor as part of our honeymoon in Australia and it will remain one of the most memorable parts of the trip for all the right reasons!

Robbie was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived: he showed us to our beautiful room (more of that in a moment) and greeted us with a tour and tea (essential for us Brits). Our room was gorgeous: really comfy bed, elegant furniture and a luxury bathroom with everything we could need.

Then there was the food. Oh my goodness the food! Robbie could be making a fortune as a chef in a high end restaurant; instead, he cooks exquisite meals, all made according to the needs of his guests. The communal dining was great: we met lovely people and we talked long into the night each evening!

Robbie is incredibly knowledgable about the rainforest and gave us excellent advice on where to visit, including the lesser known parts of the Daintree. He even lent us snorkelling kit for one of our days out. We had several great days in the rainforest, thanks to his tips.
