Daintree Crocodile Tours

Absolutely loved this experience, Nic was a good Aussie bloke who absolutely loves his office - The Daintree River. Very informative and today we had a win of spotting 5 crocodiles in their natural habitat. This is experience is a must do.

A great dog friendly boat tour! The lady was so welcoming when we rang to see if we could bring our pup. Despite not seeing a crocodile (too warm for them to be basking on the banks) it was a lovely boat tour along the beautiful Daintree River with our informative guide Paul.

Highly recommended tour with this family friendly business - with freedom to relax and enjoy the ride, you’ll either spot 5 crocs like we did one sunny day! or simply enjoy Nick’s source of knowledge as he genuinely loves every second of what he does…He may need to wear two glasses when reading but he can somehow spot a baby croc from a mile away!

I haven’t written many reviews but my experiences in the Daintree have left me compelled to shine a light on some epic humans and places. Nick’s crocodile tour was simply out of this world. He not only went out of his way to take us down the river despite important personal commitments on the day but his knowledge of the area and of crocodiles was next level. Even if we hadn’t spotted any salties, it would have been well worth it. Add a baby croc and a decent sized male plus the forest and the stories and it was one of the top highlights of our trip. Highly recommended.

It was a special experience to see two crocodiles mating in the wild, something that doesn’t happen very often! The tour guide Nick was extremely nice and had so much passion information about the crocs and the river. Definitely worth it!+ very comfortable seats

The Daintree Croc Tour was awesome! Our guide Nick was a wealth of knowledge and we were lucky to see a few crocs including a baby and then a female leaving the water to bask on the bank. Comfiest boat seats in town too…would 100% recommend

Thoroughly enjoyable tour with Nick. His knowledge and passion for the crocodile stars of the tour really shone through. We were able to get some great views of crocs, but Nick’s stories were so entertaining we still would have enjoyed the tour without them. Definitely would recommend this experience.

This was a spur of the moment trip and we are so glad we chose Nick's tour for it.
Nick is an actual legend, he's so fun, knows all the spots and has endless knowledge about the crocs and other wildlife around the area.
We loved it and had so much fun!

That is the best tour you can do! Nick is super funny, and have a good answer to all your questions. We saw some beautiful crocs & Nick know them all. Is is obvious that his job is his passion!

Fantastic tour! The boat was comfy and roomy, (ok not new or modern but certainly fit for the job) we were able to move around the boat. Seen plenty of crocs. Tour guide informative and had fun Aussie humour. Seen another green tour boat go past with hard plastic seats and was full of people jammed in like sardines. I think they looked envious of our non crowded boat with comfy soft seats. We were happy we chose Daintree Crocodile Tours. Highly recommend.

Nick was a great tour guide - his considerable knowledge about crocodiles and all things the daintree river was amazing. He provided an awesome experience and was able to get us extremely close to the alpha male crocodile you can see in the photos.

There were four people in our tour which ensured a relatively private experience. If you are looking to do a crocodile tour, you can't go wrong with Nick.

We took this Daintree River tour last month with 4 adults and 4 young kids between two and six and everyone had an absolute blast.

It exceeded our expectations, we saw quite a few crocs in the wild, up close and the kids absolutely loved it.

As well as the crocs, we saw many different interesting birds, a green tree snake & ulysses butterflies.

Nick was funny, interesting, engaging and very passionate. I'd absolutely recommend going out of your way to spend an hour on this cruise.

Nick was an awesome guide, we had the whole boat to ourselves and he went a little bit over time to ensure we got to see the big fella! Nick also shared great info about the birds and plant life. It was an excellent afternoon, highly recommend

We did this today and was an incredible experience. Nick the tour operator knows his stuff and shared it passionately. It is quite evident how much he cares for the crocs and the Daintree environment.

Highly recommended if you're up in far North Queensland.

Great tour! Nick was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide with a good sense of humour! He knew all the spots and got the boat up quite close to crocs on the bank so we had a great view!

Awesome tour to begin with when exploring Daintree! Nick was an excellent guide and skipper who not only talked about the crocodiles but also our surroundings. It was definitely worth doing. 3 comme ts:
[1] Note that you are NOT guaranteed to see a crocodile during the tour; it all depends on the temperature of the water, the tide level, and the crocodiles' movement. If you want a 100% chance, go to Hartley's or Wildlife Habitat.
[2] If you want to increase your chances, go during the winter and sign up for a morning time. When the water gets too cold, crocodiles are more likely to get out and bask in the sun to reach their optimal temperature.
[3] The seats were super comfy. I looked at other boats (both in person and via internet), and they didn't seem as comfortable. Of course, you'll be looking out for crocs, so it may not matter much to you.

An amazing experience! My friend and I had a fantastic time. Very comfortable. Tour guide was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Saw lots of wildlife very up close in a way that you wouldn't experience with anyone else. 10/10 would recommend

So good, we did it twice! Nick is incredibly knowledgeable, and has such a passion for the sustainability and care of the Daintree and it’s crocodiles.

We had the best morning on the river with Nick! He was VERY patient with all of our kids questions, shared a lot of knowledge and we saw 6 Crocs ( 2 were very young). It was a definite highlight of our trip!

Nick was great! He took his time, explained things and made us all feel very welcome. We saw 3 crocks and many birds. Nick is very knowledgeable about the river and passionate about what he does and the wildlife.
