Crocodile Express Lower Daintree Cruises

Excellent tour! We saw 6 crocs! Our guide was so informative. I think my new favourite tree is the mangrove He got up nice and close to the crocs! I would do that one again. Very blessed to be on the Daintree River.

I took this tour on a whim as I was passing by Daintree and was very pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable the tour guide was. I went in mid-November, just before the wet season, so I didn't get to see any crocs - but I did get a really interesting botany tour of the lower Daintree river. The guide pointed out a lot of interesting and rare plants as we went down the river. I left feeling like I had learned a lot about the local ecology. There are definable crocs here, but if they're shy and don't come out, and you like flora, you may still enjoy the tour.

We did both cruises as you get 2 for 1 which is very nice! Very interesting, we were lucky to see a lot of crocodiles, birds, snakes and I even got a snake skin just after it shed! We learned a lot about the Daintree river and wildlife! This is the better way to spend $25, the boat was also quiet big, we got a lot of space and not many people. Everyone was happy on board! They are the best in my opinion. Highly recommend this cruise, it is a must !

Didn’t see many crocs but tour guide made up for it by sharing his extensive knowledge about the other local fauna and flora. Had a great time!

Second part of a two cruise deal offered to see the crocs and river. Well worth it as wild life, flora and of course crocs are there to be seen. Safe and informative one hour ride that kids and adults will really like. The guides are great, the boat is safe and you will be taken up close and personal to see things.

Great experience. The guide was nice, funny and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of crocs + several snakes and birds of which the guide had heaps of interesting facts about 🎊 In addition to this we were told intriguing stories about the wildlife + the mangroves

If your in the Daintree then you have to do the crocodile tour, the owners and tour guides of Crocodile Express tours are VERY knowledgeable and supper awesome people! a must do!

A great way to get close to crocs in their natural environment. Our good natured guide was knowledgable and great at spotting snakes and other wildlife.

Great crocodiles watching tour.
We were cruising on a small boat with only a few people on board.
During the tour we are not disturbing the crocodiles, we are just watching them and you get to see them pretty closely.
The guide knew a lot about them as well as birds, fishes and nature in general.
I really recommend.

Went on both the upper and lower Crocodile Express tours on the one ticket. It is fantastic value for money. We saw so many crocs on the lower Daintree tour and our guide had some serious eagle-eyed vision - he could spot baby crocs, snakes, birds and other wildlife and would shine a mirror on them to point them out, would have had no chance otherwise. He was really knowledgeable about the river and it's wildlife, even pointing it out to other cruise operators! It was absolutely worth the $30, definitely recommend these tours!

We went on this 1 hour tour in August and loved it! We also got to do the upper Daintree 1 hour tour included in the price. We loved both tours and were so appreciative with the knowledge that both the tour guides had about both the crocs and flora and fauna in the Daintree.

We saw around 10+ crocs between the two tours but definitely saw more at the lower Daintree. The tour guide at the lower Daintree was so informative. He showed us videos on his phones of previous Crocodile encounters and was very amusing throughout the cruise.

We were comparing and tossing up which tour company to go with and we are very glad we chose this one. Thankyou for having us Crocodile express!

Had a great river cruise today with Bill, our Croc Express tour guide. He was funny and informative and it was great seeing two real crocodiles in their natural habitat. Very good value for money, would recommend.

My partner and I went on this cruise today. Although we didn’t see any crocodiles we found Bill (our tour guide) to be extremely entertaining and knowledgeable! We learnt so much and even got to eat some fresh fruits from the trees.
Highly recommend this tour .. you won’t be disappointed even if the crocs aren’t out!

Amazing experience!!!
We did two tours for price of one and we saw many crocs! Both guides - Justin and Bill were absolutely great. You could see they love their job and that’s make it awesome experience. They have so wide knowledge about all the wildlife and where to find the crocs.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
