Salvos Stores Thomastown

My toddler and I had an amazing experience here ! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I also found some great bargains here especially in the men’s section. I absolutely love it here and would definitely becoming back again.

Thomastown Salvos Store has a wide variety of goods for sale at very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly & helpful.

Lots of stock to look through, though many seem to have been mass donated by clothing outlet brands. good prices (: with every op shop, you are bound to find what you’re looking for if you search hard enough and have a bit of luck!

New store with a wide variety of goods. A little more organisation in the kids section would make it easier to locate items.

It is ok, lots of things. good prices. New pair of pillows $15 I didn't find what I was looking for I'm more of a garden ornaments collector :) Their clothes 2/10 Shop 6/10 Service 8/10 Location is perfect next to MacDonald & Pet Store & Baby Bunnings & Good guys and more shop across the road (eg) Havey Norman

My mother passed away in January. I have been donating to this store on a regular basis, and up until yesterday I haven’t had an issue. I placed two bags of books into the donation bin out the front. I then went inside the store to ask where the other bin was as I had more books and dvd’s. The assistant who served me was lovely, and said they didn’t need anymore books at present, as they have a lot. She did check with the manager to be sure. I thanked her and left. Just as I was about to get into my car, someone who I assume is the manager came outside. I asked her if they’re taking cds and dvd’s. She rudely replied”no books!” I told her I said cds, not books. She then rudely replied no cds either. I was only asking a question, and did not deserve to be spoken to in this manner. I have donated a lot of quality items to this store, so I am very disappointed. In my opinion the manager should not be working for a charitable organisation if she cannot be polite to the public. If she doesn’t like her job, then she should leave. Simple!

Ok store again mainly clothes no greeting not really much furniture at all

Made an online order of only 5 baby items. Got an email 4 days later saying my order had been shipped, 2-3 days after that I get an email from the store saying my order couldn't be completed as some items are now unavailable. Confused by this I emailed back and was told that customers had purchased some of the items I wanted so clearly the items hadn't been shipped yet. A week after the purchase the store emailed and said my order minus the items customers had purchased had been shipped and apparently left the store. Over a week after my order had been apparently shipped and I am still waiting for an update on the tracking as it still says 'waiting to be picked up'. I will avoid this store in future as they cant even organise a simple order. I'm confused how an order is made an apparently shipped but items are still available for customers to purchase days after my order. I often buy online and have never had this issue before until now. I don't trust this store.
