Nice quiet area, have only heard 1 train on a Saturday. (We’ll see what tonight brings) Toilets not far away at library. Supposedly for self contained only. Playground across the bridge to island which is also dog off-leash. Dog off-leash also next to campsite with bags & bins. Sign says maximum of 3 overnight, but more could fit. Loop walks around the lake. Entry via car park between library & Senior Citizens. Thankyou Benalla!

Excellent site. We arrived quite late and there were still places available. The camp is situated on the banks of the Broken River. There is lots of birdlife to help wake you up in the morning. There are no facilities except a rubbish bin. The locals appear to use the site as part of a pleasant walk.

Nice quiet & clean stop over

It is a place that needs to be entered from the Benalla Library and is suitable for a short night. The campsite needs to see the *no camping* sign before driving in. Follow the route to the campsite, but if there are more caravans, the location may be There are fewer options, a little grass. Public toilets are provided in the library.
