Rustik Cafe & Foodstore

Very good experience in Rustik Cafe. We ordered the chicken burger and spaghetti. All delicious, especially the chicken is juicy!!!!
Maybe the portion size for some people is small but for us is very good. I would recommend you for trying if you visit the town.

Loved the aesthetics and look of this little cafe.
So, many things to look at and buy.
From local producers, to other surrounding regional areas and from places like Byron Bay in NSW. I even bought some Billson’s cordial! Can’t wait to go home and make a cocktail with the blood orange & fruit tingle flavours.
My salmon stack was good, presented lovingly. The salmon was a bit over cooked for my liking. I would prefer smoked salmon.
My friend enjoyed her Brekkie Burger. She felt it was healthy!
The coffee was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Wish I could take all the condiments(jams, pickles, bbq sauce, chilli sauce, hot chocolate mixes, teas, all home with me. Bit pricey. My wallet would have had a big dent! They have heaps to look at specialty creams, oils, candles the works. They even have açai bar!

Barely ever go into Benalla without stopping here for lunch, or at least to buy some of the produce they have in-store. An amazing range of organic and local produce and goodies that appeals to all sorts of healthy diets such as vegan or paleo. From really nice local relish’s to salt lamps and soaps. The amazing range of healthy options on the menu is akin to this, with the Vegan Parma and Byron Burger being some of my favourite options for lunch.

Staff are friendly. Coffee taste good. They have nice outdoor seats with mandarin and other plants. We tried the calamari and it was great. Be back next time to try other dishes.

Perfect spot for us as a family (dogs included) on way back from the mountains. Catered to all our food allergies with no issues plus a great outdoor courtyard out back for the dogs. Coffee was excellent. Food awesome. Highly recommend.

Much bigger place inside than it looks from the exterior with plenty of seating and heaps of organic produce around the walls to tempt you. Great coffee and slices including GF versions.

To find a vegan friendly menu, with options, was a pleasant surprise, and the vegan stack (photo) was just perfect, the bitter of the home made sauerkraut, mushies, avocado, kale, a pattie, a small taste of beetroot & a couple of perfectly prepared asparagus shoots.
Was very busy (I only had 45 mins as I was taking a reserved table).
Coffee nice too.

We came from Melbourne for short visit, while staying there Found this Gem, it was Fully packed with Good vibes,offering Nice coffee, variety of meal fully flavour packed Including Vegan and Paleo friendly meals. And the Nepalese Dumpling Is A spiced Dumpling Something Rare to find it Everywhere ,and it’s really good To find something new To taste ,specially In regional Area.

So glad we stopped off here on the way to Melbourne. Needed a good feed and we were blown away with the choices. Great value delicious food, and friendly service, meant we left very happy. I was pleased with the great vegan options.

Vegan toast with marmalade and another vegan goodie at Rustik, Benalla. Meanwhile, out the back... Visit #2: Vegan Brekkie and a couple of lactose free cappuccinos this time.

Friends and I had lunch here today the food and service was very pleasant. We opted to dine outside it was most enjoyable they have a lovely courtyard.

Hands down, the best coffee in Benalla (we had the Oat milk lattes). Loved the range of vegan goodies available as well... unexpected but appreciated. Very friendly staff are the icing on the cake.

At first we thought the price for the big breakfast was a little high however, once the food arrived you definitely get more than your money’s worth!
The food was fantastic and we both left the cafe in a food coma 😅

We also felt it was a refreshing vibe from other cafes in Benalla.

Will definitely go back the next time we visit the town!

I can’t express how IMPRESSED I am with Rustik Cafe! We ordered 2x bacon egg rolls and coffees, and they were both amazing. The bacon egg rolls were the best B&E’s we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back as we travel north often.
