Marmalades

We travelled to Yea from South Gippsland to eat here after seeing it advertised on Facebook. We usually quickly stop at one of the bakeries on the way through when camping. So it was a fantastic change to take the time to eat at Marmalades and explore the area of Yea. My daughter and I had the soup special, which was Broccoli and Bacon soup (sounds interesting right?) served with Sour dough, but it was delicious!! Even my 15 year old daughter ate every bit and commented how great it was (and when it comes from a cranky teenager you know it must be true). My son had a huge chicken schnitzel burger as big as his head, which was much appreciated by a leggy 13 year old who is always hungry. Portion sizes are perfect, the atmosphere is everything you want from a country town cafe and more. We also received the best tourist advice with the owner pointing out some great locations with perfect directions. whoops forget to mention the perfect ice coffee and chocolates they were the best we have had in a long time!!!

We ordered the cheese waffles and the sweet potato fritters. Wanted to say that these meals were so unbelievably delicious. Thank you and hope to come back one day. Also great value!!

Great food- the pie was amazing and worth the price. Place was very rustic and lovely. Totally recommend.

Delicious breakfast we had the kids waffle, Fritters (wow) & Big Breakfast, a couple coffees and a juice. Service to be seated was quick, considering the small kitchen food was served pretty quickly. We are yet to have a spot on amazing coffee in Yea but so far this is the closest (7/10). Seated in the back room (because it was busy- always a good sign) so we lost the atmosphere of it all- would have been a lovely touch to have the back fireplace on. Lots of local nick knacks for sale. Lovely smiling happy staff which is always a treat. We love Yea and will def be back. Well done team at Marmalades!

A favourite stopping-off point when travelling to/from Melbourne. Great food and coffee, pleasant staff and old world charm interior, with plenty of seating.

Lovely place for breakfast in Yea! We had the fritters and the eggs on toast, and we had our newborn with us - the food was great, such a cute quaint little cafe, and the cakes were also delicious (we got some to go)!

it was also a fab surprise to know there was a full baby change table, very much appreciated. Would highly recommend

Lovely place. Great building and inside interior. Purchase the fried chicken burger and the yellow curry and both were amazing! Two of the best meals I’ve eaten out in a while. $22 and $20. Tad pricey on the burger but it was just delicious. Great cafe to stop by at in Yea.

Great food. Second time we have been here. Great atmosphere, beautiful little cafe with staff who manage even being under the pump!

Great country town cafe. Had an excellent blueberry slice and lemon tart serviced with really good quality tea. A feast for the eyes and stomach.

This was such a lovely cafe!! We got in right on time as the kitchen was about to close. No problem, got the orders in right away and we were happy with the choices. Good food.

The decor was amazing and most importantly, the service was great. Friendly staff and good conversation.

Had a beautiful lunch here today. Enjoyed the cheese waffle with eggs and beans with a dirty chai and cranberry & almond cake out in the sunny courtyard.

This was a terrific coffee stop on our driving trip. A whole cabinet of gluten free cakes, including the gorgeous peanut butter cookie. We enjoyed the crafts too, and I seen to now own a new tea cosy.

Great spot for breakfast on the road to Melbourne.... Morning tea and lunch would be fine... Great coffee and I'm sure you could do a lot of your Christmas shopping while you're there🌞 some great pieces of Art in a little Gallery out the back off the courtyard.... Follow the sign to the 'Toilets' to find your way 🤔

Cannot love this cafe enough. Beautiful fresh food and ability to take the furbabies? I'm sold! An amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients and nothing is to much to ask from the wait staff. Breakfasts here are such a wonderful treat would rather give 10 stars!!

Great food and amazing coffee beautifully indoor and outdoor table setting

My husband and I had a delicious breakfast in this gorgeous Cafe, with quirky original features and decor. The staff were fantastic; so happy and welcoming. And the food.... well, I've rarely enjoyed a more delicious breakfast!
I had the fritters, with rocket and pickled beetroot salad, avocado humus, eggs and haloumi. My husband had the big breakfast, complete with housemade beans. Both were incredible!
Lovely coffee and tea, also.
