Yea Peppercorn Hotel

It's been a place that we would drive past time and time again not stopping as we have been going else where. But on this particular occasion we made it our intention to go there for lunch, having some of the best cuisine we have tasted. I'm truly glad we have and hope now that when we are on out travels that we allow that time to stop by.

It's a great little pub with great atmosphere and a little bit of old world charm, it's staffed by a great crew who understand customer service. The evening meal was spot on and a good size at a fair price.
Yea might not be your first pick of spots to stay. The Peppercorn is worth a look.

2023 UPDATE
It just gets better and better for us. We stayed a night on Friday 17th Nov on our way to further upstate. We had the Garden Suite and it was absolutely sensational. We loved it for the ambience, the spacious area, the comfortable bed. We had a few drinks on a sunny afternoon out in the back garden and somehow were transported back 100 years to a quieter time of happy relaxed surroundings. We ate at the restaurant again and had a wonderful meal with a sensational red wine from the local area. The staff were the same happy, helpful, down to earth warmth we had found previously. What a sensational time we had. We are coming back !!! For the price of a worn out motel and a standard pub meal we slept in luxury and dined in perfect surroundings on some of the best food anywhere.

AMBIENCE - STYLE - STAFF WERE BRILLIANT - EXCELLENT FOOD
We were a group of 12 for lunch today 18 Sept. Everyone agrees that this is a fabulous location, the interior decor of the hotel is amazing and so stylish, but better than that, the staff had a friendly happy competent approach and we had a few good laughs with them. The menu covered just about anything you would want but many of us settled on the PEPPERCORN PARMA and it was probably the best parma I have had in a pub anywhere. Our Belgian friend was amazed by the food and wines on offer.

We stayed here on our recent trip through the area. The whole experience was fabulous including the staff and greeting on arrival. The Garden room was tastefully decorated and very roomy, with lots of nice touches to the presentation and inclusions.
The meal was outstanding, restaurant quality at pub prices!
We would definitely recommend the Peppercorn without hesitation

My mum took me after she’d been 4 times and it was perfect. The entire building is great, modern, clean and old Australian style. The staff were such friendly people. The food was simply amazing, between 3 of us we had 3 different meals and 2 entrées and every bite was incredible! Cannot wait to come back here again.

This is now an Indian restaurant with truly authentic cuisine that is tasty and delicious for a very reasonable price.

Lunch on a lovely sunny Mothers Day. It was pretty full, servers are all friendly. Food comes out pretty quick and it's delicious, very generous servings. Worth a visit.

This was the most amazing lunch I've eaten in a long time. After riding a long way on the rail trail this was the stop we needed. Good food amazing quality great service.

We had excellent meals at the Peppercorn Hotel. Mine was a Peppercorn Parma (topped with brie and a creamy Peppercorn sauce) very different to the usual Parma and very tasty. My wife had the steak which while pricey was cooked just the way she likes it and was very nice.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining room is well styled. We will definitely return again when we are next in Yea.

What an unexpected and exceptional dining experience. Hands down the best oysters (Japanese style) we have ever had. From the historical setting, to exceptional cuisine and first class service. Do not come here thinking you’ll receive your average pub dining experience. Expect to get your socks blown off. Amazing local owners delivering fabulous dining experiences.

Have eaten here several times over the years and the service and meals continues to be exceptional. The choice of meals is much better than your average pub grub and it's great to go somewhere that feels a little more special. The service is also great and the staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely keep going back again and again. Ideal for lunch or dinner.

Loved it here! Very comfy rooms and bed. Super warm! Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by! Super friendly staff! Will definitely be back!
