Royal Mail Hotel

Stopped in at the Royal Mail hotel Yea for an unscheduled dinner. We ordered two meals and both were exceptional. The service was great from all the staff and the outside area is dog friendly (as long as your dog is friendly 😊).
Well worth dropping in if you are staying in the area and there are some nice buildings and walls in and around the town.

Stopped off for a dinner in transit to Mansfield. Lovely pub meal, friendly staff, very happy to recommend.

Dropped in for dinner on our way through Yea. We had calamari, veal schnitzel and spaghetti bolognese, moscato and great Northern beer. All the meals were hot, fresh and delicious. Drinks were cold! Service was friendly. Would recommend 👌

What a surprising pub! Great new decor. Good food and beverages. Indoor or out, your choice. Definitely worth a visit. Try the Sunday Roast!

Our first time visiting Yea and stayed at the Royal Mail Hotel for the evening. Absolutely brilliant. The food was amazing. The room was excellent with extremely comfortable bed. The Owner, Alister, was beyond accommodating for us and really went above and beyond to assist us in every way he could. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Alister.

Just a great place for cold beer with some mates

Called in for lunch yesterday. Very accommodating to us in the beer garden ad we were travelling with our 2 dogs. Food was delicious. Tried a local cider that was awesome!

Usually we had dinner at the Country Club hotel , as this has closed we cam here. This is better by far, I just wish we had experienced it earlier. Will make it our tegular haunt!

Best hotel in the area 100%. Incredible service, amazing food and fantastic rooms. I’ve stayed in 2 of their King Suites and they were both well furnished, modern and comfortable. Dinner was delicious, I recommend the beer battered fish and having a chat with the owner at the bar. 11/10

If you are passing through town then this is the place to eat. We have been in the area for a week and tried several places around town, this was by far the best food and the service was excellent. Alistair went out of his way to serve us and even called to let is now our takeaway was ready to collect (I have never had ANY place do this anywhere.. ever!). The food is unorthodox by traditional standards but absolutely delicious and made with care, all 4 of the meals on the menu we tried were sensational and we loved the chefs interpretations. The venue is very clean and has a great atmosphere. Well done guys and thanks again Alistair, service like that is hard to come by these days!

Under very busy circumstances, a long weekend and the town was packed! Alistair and his team offered great food and fast service.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Don't be fooled by the way the outside looks. Inside has an on trend renovation, lovely furniture, discreet staff, good wine selection and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Chicken and Camembert in filo pastry was delicious.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Alistair was a great host, the food was excellent, the rooms beautifully appointed. Love to come back one day.

By far the best country pub in Yea. Very good small menu with wood fire pizza aa well. Both inside and outside eating zone.

This is always our first choice of pub in Yea for dinner when we drive past.

Had the Parma and it was huge, delicious and tasty. The facilities were spotless, service good. They could do with a bigger choice of beers on tap.

Accommodation was fantastic, rooms clean, decor lovely. Meals and staff very Accommodating , Alistair a great host. Definitely will be back

Great range of meals, very friendly and helpful staff. Good space and lots of large tables for a group to gather at.
