Only a quick and quiet afternoon tea here today but the service was really friendly and the cake was excellent.
I will definitely be back for a proper meal.

Whilst the men in my family enjoy the black sesame ham and egg breakfast, my favourite this season has been the fabulous house made peach crumpets.
Wonderful coffee and tea.
Popular with Castlemanians for a take away coffee.
Delicious house made cakes and treats.
Enjoy with a little tipple outside under the shady umbrellas and plane trees with a friendly dog lazing at your feet. Unlike the tipple, the dog is BYO.

Great service and coffee. Head here for gourmet breakfast with a very tasty ham. Portions are medium size, the price is on higher end but it’s worth it… it’s quality, not quantity cafe 👍

Gorgeous cafe, lovely homemade food and good coffee- can’t fault it! The sourdough crumpets were a highlight. If it were open on the weekend we would definitely have come back again while we were in town!

I keep meaning to do a review of Saint Florian but wheather it's just a cake and coffee or a lunch I enjoy the fare so much that by the time I remember to do a review I have eaten most of what I ordered. Today I remembered!

I have been eating at Castlemaines cafes for 25 years and it was such a delight that after the cafe closures of Covid I discovered St Florian. Castlemaine is not wanting for Cafes but I am particular about my coffee and cakes.

While I certainly have a soft spot for Strudel at another well known Cafe I have to say Saint Florian is by far the best Cafe that Castlemaine has.

The coffee is perfect even the decaf which is often bitter is perfect here with a full flavour you would not know it was decaffeinated. The range of cakes made on the premises is superb.

The lunch menu while not intended to be restaurant like is adequate and has some incredibly creative and tasteful small meals.

The atmosphere the service, food, coffee and cakes are wonderful, all in all a testament to all the heartfelt energy the owners and staff quite clearly infuse into all that is Saint Florian.

If you are in need of an inspired bite to eat or a caffeine top up you won't be disappointed.

Thought that this might be an overly self reverential Castlemaine cafe - but I was wrong! Nice short menu of well constructed dishes. Properly seasoned too! Interesting drinks. Good coffee. Individualistic in a good way.

Best brunch spot in Castlemaine. It's only a shame that it isn't open on weekends, which means with work during the week I can very rarely get here to enjoy it! Food is incredible and good coffee too. Welcoming and friendly team.

What a find!! Our usual cafe was closed so tried this. Excellent! Cold brew coffee was bloody awesome. And brunch was very, very good. We partook of the Spanish Bocadillo and White Bean Bruschetta... both we're exceptionally good. We came out of the cafe very happy. It has not been open for long so I'm hoping the quality continues. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, sunny aspect and attitude from the owners and staff. Relaxed, vibe with subtle offbeat humour. Great food at good pricing, quick service. All food for takeaway and quick out the door.

Quality place. Coffee, food and service are consistently very good. Friendly, low key, good range of seating. Highly recommended if you are in Castlemaine.

Tasty and beautifully presented food, coffee was okay (but better than most places in Castlemaine, must be something in the water), staff wearing masks and QR code check in. We will be back.

Fabulous coffee & great service. I've been over the years with several different owners in that time. Under new management, this cafe remains excellent.
