Amaze Richmond

We only dined in at the cafe but the whole place was really nice! Great place for families and children, lots of activities for children to play with. The food was great, staff were friendly and the whole setting was really comfortable. There's also a little shop near the maze entrance.

Amazing food at the cafe!! Best meal in our entire trip! It was so good we drove back another day from Hobart just to eat here.

The steak sandwich is the best we have ever had: the steak was juicy, tasty and tender, cooked medium rare - just perfect! It came with nice fresh bread and dressing. The accompanying chips were fantastic too- fresh and crispy.

The poke bowl on the specials menu was great, never had such good quinoa - it was flavoured with some kind of stock, so tasty!

The French toast was also good with nice caramelised banana and mascarpone cheese.

Great spacious seating, indoor and outdoors. Nice activities for the kids and adults too, eg. Quoits and corn hole throw game on the lawn. Staff were lovely. Highly recommended.

We stopped in to have lunch and the food was absolutely wonderful and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely. We were very impressed. The maze at Richmond is a bit iconic so a must see when visiting the town. You wont be disappointed. Can totally recommend this place. Great for families too.

This has been on our to-do list since it reopened and we absolutely loved it! You can tell there has been a lot of work put into this maze, the grounds and the cafe to make it a family friendly place.
We had lunch at the cafe before doing the maze - very quick service and the staff were really polite, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Really fresh and tasty food, delicious milkshake and coffee too!
We had pre-booked our maze tickets and again the staff member that we spoke to was so friendly and happy. There are activities to do in both the hedge and timber maze which added an extra of fun to the overall experience. A really fun experience, even for adults, highly recommend!

Luved the Maze very welcoming girl described the Maze and puzzle to solve..well kept..lovely cafe lots of fun for at least an hour.

I was amazed at how amazing this maze was. My gf and I had a wonderful time in both mazes. Fun puzzles to solve. I enjoyed the adult puzzle the best :)

Place was easy to find. Parking was adequate. Counter lady was friendly and happy to answer our questions. My 11-year old son was comfortable with her demeanor and had an "amazing" time wandering in both the mazes. Also, the cafe had a nice interior and toilets were cleaned.

We arrived at lunchtime on Christmas Eve with no booking, 4 adults and 3 kids.
Plenty of room to sit both inside and outside for the cafe. Lots of options for lunch to keep all of us happy and nothing very expensive.
Food and drinks were great and came out quickly. Will definitely be back in the future for lunch and to do the maze!

They do great events (Easter/Halloween) both the mazes (hedge and wooden panel) are fun.
I would suggest they are better suited to any pre-teen kids, certainty not my "I'll finish before you" kids who raced through the entire maze and didn't let me find all the animals on my sheet, (but I'm not bitter or holding a grudge in any way shape or form) I am just mentioning.

Love this place second time we've been and the kids loved it just as much. Our maze skills are improving. Food was delicious, and smiles from all round. Love! Highly recommend, our wild boys are 20 months and 3.5 and they both loved it!

Great place to visit with the kids and a lovely setting. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Make sure to take a sun hat and sunscreen with you as it is quite exposed in parts of the mazes when the sun is out - but there is plenty of covered space to take a break in if needed.

Great place for kids (and their parents). It's funny a Dad in there talking to his phone said "I'm in a maze and I lost my children, can't find them..." 🤣
One thing might be improved here: my daughters decoded the message, handed it the paper back, hoped there was some sort of rewards... but nothing 😂

Fantastic place to visit, lots of nice seating areas. We wandered for about an hour in the mazes and then ate at the Cafe afterwards. It was good that the mazes were nice and tall even for adults. Would recommend for both adults and children. We also enjoyed the puzzle and codes along the way. Well worth the stop.

What a great place for the family to go. It’s also freshly renovated. we had lunch and it was delicious 😋 I recommend this Maze to anyone old or young. Staff are all so friendly. So many things to do in Richmond and this is just one of my kids favourite spots including the lollie shop up the road 😊

We had a fantastic night at the Haunted Maze event, an absolute ball, everyone involved in putting together the event needs to be congratulated, you all did a great job at scaring us, from the front desk staff who created the atmosphere, to the person's along the maze you were all terrific. The staff I spoke to before the event to reschedule due to cancelling of days, and then a phone call today to offer a reschedule due to weather if WE wanted, were all friendly and polite. I think the weather actually added to the evening.

The mazes were amazing. The kids (7 & 15) both enjoyed their time there. Took about 1.5 hrs to do both mazes. The kids loved the extra free activities like chalk to draw.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed both mazes. Lots to keep all of us engaged and entertained, plus the cafe (for the parents) and outdoor play area was a great addition! Highly recommend!

Our kids (5 & 7) loved this experience, had so much fun finding all the animals and shapes. Worked off a lot of their energy and the lunch we had was delicious.

Im a Victorian staying for the weekend in Tassie with relatives, they take us to Amaze and we had an absolute blast. Staff great, facilities great overall fabulous afternoon.
