Zoodoo Zoo

We chose to spend a day in Zoodoo zoo as our last day of the Tassie trip.
The price may be a bit expensive but I felt totally worthy as the zookeepers and staffs took care of the animals very well. Once you got in, you can visit big cat lion, zebra, monkey and have a chance to feed kangaroos and donkey.
The overall visiting experience for me is that, Zoodoo zoo felt more like a 'farm' than a 'zoo' as all animals are living happily and peacefully. Highly recommend the experience🐒🐱🐈🦁🦓🐪🐐🦥

For a small zoo surprisingly good! Animal experience are very affordable and informative. Had a ball honestly, highlight of our trip

A must visit while in Tassie especially with kids. A good animal feeding experience and we got to see new animals which we haven't seen in Melbourne zoo. The Cafe is great to and a play area for kids as well. Soo many chirpy birds, a woow experience.

Was pleasantly surprised by such a variety of animals well housed and presented in a what seemed to be a relatively small area. Easy to walk around. As a lazy reader I really liked the QR code activated video introduction/ description of animals by keepers at each enclosure. Seemed like there was something for everyone.

This is the best zoo we've ever been to. You get to interact and feed some of the animals. The zoo is not packed out, you have alot of privacy and space to explore at your own pace. There are alot of animals to see. The staff are very friendly and there is a play area for the kids.

Fantastic experience! My daughter loved feeding the Meerkats in a one on one experience. The caretakers were highly educated and really helpful. The environments were all maintained exceptionally, providing as close to the natural habitat for each of the animals as possible. We'll definitely be back!!

Unreal Experience for children and adults went at 10.00am and no wait during the week lots of the animals have just been fed when we arrived and had some great interactions.I love this place and so do my kids. We have bought annual passes as this saves a lot of money

Worth the entrance fee just to see those small monkeys and the big lions.

Kids had a nice time in the play area too

Small but beautifully maintained zoo. So many opportunities to get up close with the animals. The animal encounters were all incredible and the Lions Raw is a must for all big cat lovers. Our guides Jake and Mikey were both brilliant. Look out for Shelly the duck, biggest character in the zoo.

The whole family had a great afternoon at Zoodoo! We will be purchasing the annual pass as it is definitely worth it. Our family are new residents to Tassie so have loved seeing Tasmanian Devils and meeting the friendly kangaroos.

The zoo is not big but full of fun. You can interact with kangaroos and other animals. The animals look healthy. I think the zoo keepers are doing a great job.

Had the best time at the serval encounter, couldn't recommend it highly enough! All the other animals are fantastic as well, I don't think we missed out on seeing a single one. The keepers are lovely and incredibly knowledgeable and the cafe staff are friendly and helpful. The play area is also brilliant and gives parents a chance to relax and have a coffee while the kids play. I had the sweet chilli chicken and sour cream wrap and an almond milk iced coffee, both were delicious!

Very surprising zoo that has more animals than you would expect. The staff are great so friendly and informative. We did the meerkat encounter where you get to personal sit with them and feed them in their enclosure. Highly recommended. So many animals you can get up so much closure than other zoos around. We ended up just turning up and trying our luck with getting the meerkat encounter, it is recommended though to pre-book as they get really busy and sell out of the animal encounters fast.

Loved this place and worth every cent! I got to see lions and I love those gorgeous cats! They are on my list every time! Got to feed the kangaroos including white wallaby and saw some interesting exotic animals!

Small but excellent zoo/ wildlife park. The lions were majestic and the barn animals are very friendly. A really good place to be if you have smaller kids for whom a full scale zoo might just be too much. It was perfect for our 2 year old as it was the perfect size for us to cover in one trip. The lion feeding was truly amazing.

Went there for the zoo experience and it didn’t disappoint, worth every cent and a must do, we did the full experience it was the extra cost , with out this experience I wouldn’t of thought much of the zoo but this has left a ever lasting impression and the hands on experience gave a good insight into the keepers and the animals and there individual personalities,

A great place to visit with children. It was very quiet (probably influenced by weather) and we got to see all the animals multiple times without interruption. We loved the lions-who got up and roared for us, and the zebras, meerkats and marmosets. Did an animal encounter with the meerkats-what a cool experience!

It's a beautiful drive just to get there. The people are so friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere. You can buy food and dessert. I recommend the ice cream 🍦 incredible.
