Visiting from Texas, USA. Great food & great service. We had Zucchini Soup, Fish & Chips, and delicious chocolate cake with ice cream. Highly recommend

A fantastic experience on all accounts here. Fantastic service, I was greeted immediately and enthusiastically by staff when I entered the cafe. The food was delicious. I had the ‘Spicy Scramble’ which was tasty, filling and something I would happily eat again. I didn’t find it very spicy, but there was definitely spice in it, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything about my brunch here was perfect.

Although it is a takeaway drink, I still feel the friendliness of the staff in the store. It feels like a cafe run by a family and the atmosphere is very good.

I highly recommend going here.
We called in for afternoon tea, and the food was delicious as well as being priced well.
I had savoury scones, and they are some of the best scones I have had.
My sister is GF, and there were plenty of options for her to choose from. Also when she asked a question about gluten free, the staff member made sure to double check.
Which brings me to the next part. Amazing staff. Everyone we talked to were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our food.
If you do visit Ashmore, make sure to grab some of their raspberry jam. I bought a jar and am very happy with it. The kids have said it's as good as nan's homemade raspberry jam.

This was a lovely cafe with lots of homemade cakes. The lemon sugar pancakes were light and fluffy but scraped off a lot of the sugar as I prefer a light dusting, but I have to say the scones were simply perfect and hit the spot. Our mums loved it!

Laura was our cafe helper, what a fantastic breathe of fresh air, bright and cheerful, nothing was a problem, happy and chatty, easily engaged with all her clients. She is one lovely human being! She alone is worth going to this lovely food spot in Richmond Tasmania. Food was great, fast service and the bucket of hot chocolate was particularly special! Thank you Laura and all the best!

This place is 100% a hidden gem! From the first step in, the aromatic coffee smell really caught me; food is fresh and well delivered! We particularly like the salmon - we thought it was smoked salmon but turned out it was pan fried (to perfection!). I also love the range of food available, I wish I stayed in Richmond instead so I get to try out more things on the menu! Saw some other people ordered cakes and they look absolutely beautiful!

This is my 3rd visit to Richmond: 2020, 2022, and 2023. I always enjoy the friendly service and the food is great. I had minestrone soup, which was very tasty, and the grilled sourdough thar came with it was fantastic. I asked for more and they gave me without additional charge. I Will always eat at this place when I visit Richmond.

Visited the restaurant twice so far and both times the food was fantastic. The menu has a good variety of options to select from (not just simple fare) & the food offered was substantial. Good ambience and service too.

Had a great time at Ashmore on Bridge Street. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Poke Bowl and an Iced Latte with Oat Milk. It was delicious!! My friend ordered the Pulled Pork Burger and really enjoyed it too! The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet was out around the back of the cafe, it was simple but in good order. Would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area!

Flew in from South Australia and needing breakfast at midday, Ashmore hit the mark 100%. Really liked the old decor and feel in the shop, making ue of the heritage fabric. Great range of tasty food and good prices. Bacon was really well cooked! Friendly staff and prompt service of food. We'll be back!

delicious, we tried the salmon salad with pumpkin, the pumpkin soup, the chicken foot and the butterscotch cake, everything was really delicious, we finished with two cappuccinos. we highly recommend the caramel and butter cake

Best almond chai latte in Tasmania! Lovely fresh food, plenty of choice and fabulous service. Well worth a visit.

WOWWW service was a little bit slow, but honestly we weren’t in a rush. The food and coffee were excellent. The staff fantastic, this place was awesome
