I'm glad l came to see it.
This 1883 built Bridge is a famous Richmond town historical piece of art.
It's easy to get to, drive or walk there, it's right in town, heaps of parking, and of course it's free.
The beauty is in its construction & picturesque setting. Knowing it still stands is well worth visiting for a look, picnic, play & even feed the many ducks. Great town & river walk.

One of the most picturesque places I've ever visited. The oldest bridge in the country is surrounded by fastidiously maintained walking paths and lush green lawns. There are many Ducks and other water birds around that add to natural beauty of the area. Picnic tables and barbecue facilities are situated close by and the whole area is just serene.

We love it here! I suggest to park near the bakery, get a coffee and pastry and enjoy the short stroll down to the bridge, and sit and enjoy the view. There are always ducks around, and you can pick up a bag of food from the bakery or bring along your own oats. They ducks are friendly and happy to be fed.

At a tick over 200 years of age, this feat of engineering is a testament to Australia's colonial history. The river passing underneath the bridge is home to hundreds of friendly ducks, who enjoy being fed. Something that translates into great fun for the kids!

What an amazing place to stop and walk around, the stone work and history in the area let alone the bridge itself is simply amazing a d worth a visit to have a look around and explore the area, the bridge itself is remarkable and and old relic of the period of 1823, simply stunning and well worth stopping.

Amazing structure built in 1823, just over 200 years ago and in perfect condition. Lovely river area below with a large platform created to get good photos. Plenty of overly friendly ducks down there too!

Cute little town. Awesome ice cream and chocolate shop. Highly recommend the delicious whiskey cream gelato if you're that way inclined.

The oldest bridge in Australia! Very nice to do a picnic here. Lots of ducks and we found a white cat lying in the bushes.

Beautiful piece of engineering in the lovely town of Richmond. Over 200 years old as construction started in 1823. Be sure to check out the old mill that sits on the other side of the bridge, it is now a private residence and B&B.

Richmond Bridge and Richmond Village are both very historic and picturesque. The walks around and near the bridge are a must as the architecture of the bridge looks great from different angles. While there try to get over to the St John’s Church and Cemetery.

This is a beautiful convict bridge surrounded by parkland with resident ducks. You can walk under the bridge also. A nice place for a picnic on riverbank after wandering thru the love town. Plenty of parking.
