A great Sunday lunch was had at the Richmond Arms. We were visiting Richmond for the fab Open House event. Lunch service was quick and pleasant. The GF calamari was delicious and excellent value. We also very much enjoyed being able to sit outside.

I went there driving a group of trades on their end of year function. The time there was precooked. Great food, excellent service in a family-friendly thriving place. Good extra parking behind the pub, so I had no trouble turning the bus around. Great facilities in this wonderfully historic town.

Recently stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom with my sister. It was a very central location and meant we could do lots of exploring around Richmond.

The room was clean and spacious with an excellent views from the window. We didn’t actually eat at the Richmond arms but the environment was lovely.

Great value for money and very easy to get the bus from Hobart and taxi (Uber) to the airport.

Incredible meals highly recommend getting dinner here. However dessert was lacking the same wow factor and seemed a bit slapped together. Hopefully they will work on that and next time it will be magic!

We booked the two bedroom apartment and it was really good! The rooms were really clean and we loved the space. Wifi available. Strictly no cooking in the room. There's a small fridge and kettle. We paid $175 for a night.

Right on the main street , large classic style sandstone building with balancy. Comfortable seating, good for large groups and a fab outdoor area with shade. Menu is normal pub fare, we had the Devonshire tea with lovely home made scones. Its a safe bet for lunch or afternoon coffee.

We only had lunch there but the pizza was delicious. Their base is a nice crispy base.

The room was very basic, not even a bottle of water or glass to take night meds. The floors creaked everywhere you went and you have to share the shower and toilets. Not good for $110.00 per night.

Visited here for a family lunch. The menu had an awesome selection of pub favourites plus some other options - eg. scallops. The food came out pretty quickly and was really tasty. Warm family friendly atmosphere. Lots of groups having lunch here when we visited but didn't feel the area was too crowded. No plate was left with food on it when we left. Highly recommend.

Had an evening meal here it was great. Had the specials, sweet potato soup and the roast of the day, pork. Great servings and so tasty. The soup came with grilled cheese on scones - who'd of thought, what a great idea, yum. Delicious pork roast with all the trimmings. Walked back to accommodation well satisfied.

Absolutely brilliant that we stayed there on our return trip to Hobart 2 days afterwards. I mucked up and thought that I had the same room ( ground floor for my dad) but I had not requested by name ( I thought they had one 2 bedroom). But they were able to accommodate us in an alternative ground level. Really friendly staff. And the shanks are top.

Great place, best pub meal I’ve had in Tasmania so far. I had Salt & Pepper squid, super tender and tasty, salad had great flavours, hubby had lamb shank (just ordered 1) and it was huge and apparently tasty too. Well worth stopping in for!

Great, cosy pub in the heart of Richmond. Staff are efficient and super friendly. Food is really good value and awesome quality. Guaranteed to find anything for the whole group on the menu, from wings, to roasts to Devonshire tea and scones. Everything is fresh, generous portions and great value for money. Lots of seating inside and outside, and everything is welcoming and homely. Some great brews on tap as well as stellar local wines on offer. Genuinely couldn't ask for more. If we're ever in the area again we'll be sure to check in again.
