Elly's Coffee Lounge

A great café in the Central shopping centre. Staff are full of energy and fantastically friendly. Food portions are generous, and always delicious. The mains are nice (the chicken and mushroom crepe is a great filler), but try to save room for dessert (or come back the next day) - there are great crepes and pancakes to choose from! Prices are nice, considering the portion sizes and quality. Lunchtimes get crowded, but for an afternoon snack (or pre-dinner dessert!) it's a very good choice. If eating alone, you can also pick up one of the newspapers to keep you company.

The walls are adorned with various artworks which you can also purchase should one especially tickles your fancy.

Fast service, good food, great quiet atmosphere. Would definitely come again next time I'm passing through 👌

Never disappointed with the food, coffee or the service. Elly's is the best cafe in Armidale and even better that they're also opened for dinner now too!

Visited here for breakfast from the outside it doesn't look like much, but the food is amazing. We got the pancakes and the serves were so huge we couldn't finish them, which was a shame because they were delicious. Coffee was good and the pot of tea was great and was made with real leaf tea, not just a bag. The prices were so cheap but definitely not cheap quality. Sad to see the business is for sale hopefully the quality doesn't disappear.

Ellys’s Coffee Lounge is the best ! The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of food and drinks on the menu. They have almond and soy milk options along with normal milk available for coffee and tea etc. They are happy to consider how one prefers to have a meal prepared where this is possible too.

Works burger was fresh and delicious. I will be back to try the Mexican burger, which looked amazing.

ERA eat your heart out! Elly's does a phenomenal meal, with much kinder pricing than their competitor, that is frankly leagues apart! The pancakes are both exceptionally portioned and delicious beyond belief, and ERA's eggs benny couldn't even hope to hold a candle to Elly's! Highly recommend, in fact 5 stars isn't enough!

They are very happy to swap ingredients in dishes that aren't vegan. Just ask ! Nice people and great coffee !

Amazing menu for a small place. Food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. We were there at lunch time staff were busy but attentive.

If you are looking for a quality breakfast with a refreshing coffee, Ellys Coffee Lounge is the place for you. With so many great options, you will have kind of food which your tastebuds will not forget for long. Equally great Coffee compliments the food really well.

Our go to for breakfast and coffee if we get time. Plentiful portions, general good service (some of the younger girls can be a bit rude) and great pricing.
Oh and their coffee is awesome!

As usual, Elly's impressed me with the timely service, extensive menu and cheerful staff.
The prices are fairly cheap.
The coffees I've had here range from decent to brilliant but are very non-unique in flavour.

Large and varied choice menu, beautifully cooked snacks or meals. Great service from the friendly team. Open 7 days from 7am until 8pm Sundays 8am until 3pm.
