Spectacular. Easy viewing from the top and a fairly easy walk to the viewing platform below as well.

Dangers Fall Picnic Area is an incredible location boasting breathtaking scenic beauty. It offers a thrilling experience with a picnic area that provides a full view of the falls. The only challenge is the final stretch of the road, which covers approximately 10-12 kilometers and is more like an off-road trail than a paved road. If you're comfortable with that, I can assure you that this place will undoubtedly provide an exhilarating dose of natural beauty.

Great spot with some stunning views of the falls. There are a few walks here of various length, but the ones with the best views of the falls are fairly short.

Dangars Falls Road is unsealed for the majority but doesn't need a 4WD. It was pretty corrugated when I was there in Dec 2021, so slow going in parts in my little hatchback, but definitely worth the trip out.

Stunning place. Been before with heaps of water coming down but even this time with just a trickle the lookouts are stunning

Breathtaking waterfall with multiple lookouts for different point of views of the beautiful deep gorge. Photo doesn’t do justice for this place.

However, the highest lookout which is situated across the waterfall can be inaccessible if the water level of the river is higher than the crossing walkway.
The lookout at the top of the waterfall is not wheelchair friendly with many steps but the rest are fine.

There are a bunch of uncovered benches available for picnics by the river. BBQ pits are also available. There is also undercover bench next to the toilet up hill equipped with BBQ pit.

Parkings are close by the lookouts, only a few steps away.

A few km’s of unpaved road to the waterfall but should be doable with non 4WDs.

Dangars Falls is one of the best waterfalls I've ever visited. There were multiple lookouts, a metal walkway over the river and charming bushland surroundings.

We were fortunate to visit after heavy rain, so we enjoyed the gorgeous falls in their full glory.

Flowing really well after the rains. Nice easy walks with a great view. Take it easy on the cattle grids, cars with low clearance will scrap.

The gorges in this area are amazing. The ground is relatively flat then you come across these deep gorges seemingly out of no where.

Spectacular viewpoint, even in the 2018 NSW drought! The gorge is massive, well worth the drive from Armidale to witness its wild beauty and isolation.

Well worth a visit if in the Armidale area. Amazing lookouts without having to do any walking. Lots of other walking tracks of varying lengths with other lookouts of the stunning gorge and waterfall. The kids loved it. There is a toilet and picnic area.

Interesting place and a lovely job done by conservation staff making terrific asphalt tracks to the viewing platform. These are wheelchair friendly tracks.

Breathtaking after the overnight downpour. An echidna made a showing on the quite steep stairs ascending up from the falls.
